We get dozens of messages and calls a week asking us to take in companions that have been found, dumped and needing to be surrendered. We get on Facebook and all we get to see is dogs needing to be rehomed. It’s truly heartbreaking for us.

So With all that’s happened this year. And with all the companions we wish we could help. We need some positivity!

Please post those beautiful furkids you have adopted from us. 🥰♥️🥰

Roz and Boomer are in dire need of a recovery foster for a minimum of 2 weeks. August 7th-21st. Longer would be greatly beneficial to them so that we can get information on their temperaments, personalities, likes, dislikes, what they do great with and no so great with. And it allows them to feel what it feels like to be in a loving home and trust humans again.

Roz is an incredibly sweet adult female.
Boomer is an energetic and sweet 8month old male.

If you think you can open your home to either of these kiddos for the 2 weeks or longer, please message the page and we will get the process started.

We are in need of responsible surgery recovery fosters.
Recovery crate rest, out to potty and back in crate, no running, jumping or laying in dirt.
What’s cruel is ignoring their needs and causing them unnecessary suffering and possibly another surgery

Seeking recovery fosters for Boomer, a 15-pound canine, and crate rest for one week, as well as Roz, a 22-pound canine, and crate rest for two weeks. As a superior species, we must acknowledge that animals conceal their pain as a survival mechanism, leading us to erroneously believe they are not in discomfort. Allowing them to remain active during their recovery can result in hernias in females and males with cryptorchidism require additional crate rest. Consider the analogy of having surgery and running a marathon the following day to understand the severity of the situation. Please conduct research for further verification.
Please message the page if you have what it takes.

Rainbow Bridge Can Wait Animal Rescue and Adoption RBCW is a non-profit organization that prioritizes the health and well-being of our animals. Our adoption fees reflect the value we place on providing fully vetted animals, which includes investing in vaccines, wormer, tests, preventatives, and high-quality food. We often incur costs that exceed the fees we charge and offer complimentary healthcare for the first 30 days. If you prioritize vet care and a healthy pet, our adoption fees are a worthwhile investment. Our volunteers are unpaid, and we appreciate your understanding and support.

🌈 **In Memory of Our Beloved Rescue Companions 🌈**

This year has been incredibly tough for our rescue community as we mourn the loss of several precious souls, and its only halfway through the year. These amazing animals, who only sought love and care, were victims of negligence, abuse and/or abandonment by those who should have cherished them, loved them and been loyal to them.

It's heartbreaking to think about the journeys these animals endured before they came came to us. They were left behind, neglected, or given up on by their former owners. Each of them had a story—a past filled with only God knows. As rescuers, we strive to provide a safe haven and a second chance at life, but unfortunately, we can't always undo the damage caused by neglect and abandonment.

This should be a reminder of the responsibility we have when we welcome an animal into our lives. They all depend on us for love, care, and safety. We MUST ensure that our commitment to them is unwavering and lifelong.

As we reflect on the loss of these beloved companions, let us honor their memory by advocating for responsible pet ownership. Let's spread awareness about the importance of providing a loving and stable home for our pets and encourage others to consider adoption as a compassionate choice. Let's advocate for the spaying and neutering of our pets so we can lower the population of unwanted animals across the county.

To our departed companions: You will always hold a special place in our hearts. Your time with us, although it may have been brief, was filled with unwavering love, and compassion. We will continue to fight for a world where no animal is left behind, forgotten, abused, or neglected.

In their memory, let's pledge to do better—for them and for those still waiting for their forever homes. 💔🐾

Love you always-Until we meet again: Hotchi, Fella, Henry, Max and Oliver!
