***Guess who's coming back!***

We are very excited to announce that Dr. Marc Friedericks will be returning to Carolina Beach Animal Hospital on August 19th! We were sad to see him go in 2021 and we could not have been happier when he decided that he wanted to join our team once again. For those of you who do not know Dr. Friedericks:

Dr. Marc Friedericks earned his Bachelor of Science in wildlife biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University. He relocated after graduation to Wisconsin to be close to his family and practiced emergency medicine in large referral hospitals in Wisconsin and later in New Jersey for ten years. He eventually transitioned from emergency medicine to general practice. He has a special interest in wound management and trauma stabilization and also enjoys endocrinology, dentistry, and general soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Friedericks and his wife share their home with a multitude of rescue dogs and cats. In his spare time, Dr. Friedericks enjoys working on his golf game, hiking, and cooking.

Dr. Friedericks is a very talented and compassionate veterinarian and we just know you'll love him too!

ADORABLE and up for ADOPTION! Meet Miele! Miele is a very sweet and goofy Australian Shepherd. She will be 2 years old on September 13th. She is potty trained and has had a lot of obedience training. She is friendly with other dogs and cats, although she gets overexcited and will chase them around! She can be pretty independent but she LOVES to play with other humans or dogs. She would love an active family that will take her on walks to explore and sniff. Her current owner is having a hard time saying goodbye as she is such a wonderful dog and is so loved; but her owner is having a difficult pregnancy and finding it hard to give her the attention Miele needs.
