Guess who we got updates for?!?

Miss River girl! She is from Maximus x Maizley from Iowa. Her owners are loving her so much. We are so happy to see her inside a wonderful home where they adore her so much.

Like two peas in a pod 🫛

Boomhauer is going to have such a great life with his new owner Cody! We are housing him until Cody closes on his first house. So exciting isn’t it?

In the meantime he stays here and he picks him up to spend quality time on the weekends when he’s not working.

Kingston has had no interest and is getting very stressed. He has destroyed his feeder bowl turntable in his dog run and is getting very anxious. PLEASE SHARE! We have a person interested in sponsoring his medical so please SHARE!

Kingston is a three year old Rottweiler that arrived to JTAC earlier this month. His owner was arrested and extradited out of state. The family did not want to come back for him. Kingston is a big baby and currently weighs about 110 pounds. He is a gentle giant and has done great with both male and female staff/volunteers. He appears to be dog friendly as he shows no reaction with other dogs during walks but has also met a large female Olde English Bulldog. Kingston has entropion and doesn't mind us cleaning his face and eyes to remove the gunk. Kingston also appears to have bad skin allergies as he tries to nibble on his back end to the point where he has sores. We have a cone on him and he does well with it. Kingston came in already neutered and he is current on his distemper, bordetella, dewormed, and f***l negative. If interested in pulling Kingston, please email [email protected].

**Located in Joliet, IL. Must be a current rescue team partner to pull. The animal is NOT available for adoption through our facility but you are welcome to contact your local rescues to join their foster program.

Salukis are not for everybody. They are definitely a challenge to own them. The Saluki dog breed was originally bred for hunting. These sighthounds, which hunt primarily by sight, were used by ancient Egyptians, nomadic tribes, and Arab tribesmen to chase and catch fast prey like gazelle, hare, and fox. They also originated in Israel.🇮🇱 Salukis are known for their speed, grace, and ability to run long distances over difficult terrain. They can run up to 35 miles per hour, and some say they can run almost 50 miles per hour. Wouldn’t recommend a Saluki for an apartment life or without a 6+ foot fence as the #1 Saluki death rate is from getting struck by vehicles.

Congratulations to these guys!!
They both passed OFA heart & eyes. Maximus is finally chic certified and hazel goes in for OFA hip/elbow June 3rd then she will also be chic certified and both fully done with health testing! 🥳
Thank you U of I veterinary for taking such great care of these two and they say thank you for the lovings too

If anybody who follows my page or visits who is in search of a Service/Therapy dog we will have some of our OWN puppies inside this service dog organization. One of our babies Flynn now named Tommy went to be trained to be a Therapy dog🥳 We are excited to be working with them on finding people their bestfriends and lifelines! They would become a comfort dog or facility through this organization.
