We are delighted to welcome Claire Cottrell to the EquiScholars team as our new Head of Therapeutic Programs. Claire is a Polyvagal-informed and Thrive Practitioner, and a certified Meditation Guide, with a First-Class Honours Degree in Psychology. Her extensive qualifications and experience bring a unique and holistic perspective to our upcoming therapeutic offerings.
Claire has dedicated her career to integrating her knowledge of equine behaviour principles from EquiScholars with the parallels between horse and human behaviour to create transformative therapeutic experiences. Her deep understanding of Polyvagal Theory allows her to support the nervous system's role in trauma and recovery effectively, while her expertise as a Thrive Practitioner and Meditation Guide offers additional layers of care for those on their healing journey.
In her role at EquiScholars, Claire will spearhead the growth and enhancement of our upcoming therapeutic offerings, making sure they are both impactful and widely available.
We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to EquiScholars.

This is the moment the Equischolars team completed The Early Intervention Program training at The Ranch, a milestone worth celebratingβ¦β¦β¦.
A celebratory and emotional hug after finishing our final day delivering our Early Intervention Program The Ranch Weymouth.
We couldnβt be prouder of our program and all the hard work we have put in over the last year to make it, bringing together our years of experience working with young people, horses and professionals in the therapeutic equine industry.
We have so much more to share over the coming weeks but staying true to what we teach, we will be showing up for ourselves and practising some self care over the weekend.
Thank you again to the fantastic staff at the Ranch for allowing us to share our program and being such great learners. ππ
This program is FANTASTIC!!! They are always evolving and growing in areas of need. We hope this is an opportunity in the future for our area!!! I am so thankful to be apart of this program and truly admire the Equischolars team so very much!
I was involved in early intervention prior to having children and I witnessed first hand how powerful it can be! I watched within my own children the growth they experienced as well as the children I worked with professionally.
