The NCA is a non-profit organization of cattledog users, handlers, trialers and enthusiasts and is dedicated to encouraging the use of cattledogs on the farm and ranch. The NCA will also sanction cattledog trials and sponsor the National Cattledog Finals.

We will have pot luck lunch again and leftovers for supper. Camping available, no hookups. Bring chairs and seasonal clothes. May rain, may not!😂Spectators welcomed.

Meet your new Executive Secretary:

Hello NCA members! My name is Katelyn Schroeder from Carrington, ND. I alongside my husband own and operate a cow/calf Ranch where I train, breed and use border collies for livestock work. When my husband suggested adding a working dog to our operation, his only requirement being that it had to be a border collie, I deep dove into how to train a dog for herding work. This led me to finding a great passion for stockdogs and the community around them. I have recently become more involved in promoting working dogs by hosting clinics, and competing in both cattle and sheep trials and am so excited to become more heavily involved in the promotion of quality dogs and stock handling through the National Cattledog Association as it’s executive secretary.
I was drawn to the NCA in particular after seeing the passion and positive promotion for its members that goes into the NCA trials and Finals.
Id like to thank the board for this opportunity and look forward to working with all the member of the NCA!

The board of directors want to give a sincere thank you to Angie Brooks, for your incredible dedication and years of service to the National Cattledog Association. Your commitment has helped shape and strengthen the community, and we are deeply grateful for all you’ve done to support and advance the sport and industry. Your hard work and passion have made a lasting impact! We will miss you as secretary, but are thrilled that we will still see you down the trialing road!

I would like to thank the past and present NCA boards of directors for allowing me to serve as NCA secretary. There are a lot of things that I will miss but one of the biggest ones is the membership. Thank you all for having me as your secretary these past few years. I have really enjoyed getting to know so many of you through our shared passion for stockdogs!

The only change that will effect the membership is a different mailing address. The phone number, email address, and online submission of forms will remain the same. The new address can be found on the NCA web page.
