🆘🆘🆘 CARRIZO SPRINGS 🆘🆘🆘
We are joining forces with our amazing rescue friend in Carrizo Springs, Tx!! Marissa Garcia with Loki’s Paw Rescue is the ONLY active rescue in Carrizo Springs who has been rescuing unwanted strays in that town for years out of her own home. She has fronted the expense that rescue entails out of her own pocket and out of the kindness of her heart.
She is contacted daily about animals in need given the lack of a city shelter in the area. She homes, cares for, feeds and vets all the rescues on a regular basis.
Recently she participated in the Carrizo Springs Homecoming Parade to raise awareness for animal rescue. She was the first animal rescue to ever participate in a city parade and won a huge trophy as recognition for her hard work.
We’re so proud of her hard work and dedication to animals in her area and today we ask that you help make her holiday season a little easier by donating towards her rescue efforts.
She is in need of:

🐶 Dog Food
🐶 Bowls
🐶 Puppy Pads
We want to invite all Carrizo Springs, Tx businesses to participate in a food and blanket collection in your places of business to benefit her many rescues. Monetary donations are also welcomed!

🚨🚨Need emergency placement for 9 kittens 🚨🚨

Kittens are around 5 weeks old, weaned & litter box trained. There are from two litters: orange tabbies and saddleback tabby & white kittens.

Their elderly widow owner is being moved in with a family member out of town & can't take them. She brought both litters inside because of the heat. They would make good porch cats or inside cats.

We got this baby girl Thursday with two terribly infected eyes. We were able to start treating her immediately. She showed marked improvement overnight but but Friday evening, her right eye ballooned up. Knowing we were out of our depth & resources, we reached out to The Buddy Foundation. Sandy did not hesitate to take in Nona and rush her to their vet for treatment. She likely will lose her right eye, but her left is responding well. By asking for help we gave her a fighting chance. Thank you to the concerned person who found her and brought her to us. Send prayers for little Nona & if you can donate to help the Foundation, please do so!

This morning we welcomed this sweet girl with a terrible eye infection. She was immediately rushed to our vet for treatment. She may lose that right eye. 😔

Meet Carrizo, or as we call her Rizo!
Rizo was found by Dimmit County Fire Rescue under a pallet at the station when they came back from a call. She is approximately 3 months old & looking for her furever home! She is a little WILDCAT and has the W on her forehead to prove it. This gal loves to play. She is one of the smallest kittens we have and can tangle with the big cats. She will need a home with stimulation (toys/things to climb) & attention. She's great with other cats/kittens but not too crazy about puppers. If you are interested in Rizo, message or stop by!

I'm Meowth & looking for my furever home! I got separated from my mom when I was weeks old. A really nice person picked me up and brought me to Freya's Felines. They cleaned me up, medicated my funky eyes and fed me. Now I am healthy & strong and need a family. I am really good with other cats and am OK with dogs. I am EXCELLENT with kittens. I am very nurturing and like help them learn to cat. I am very playful and need a scratching post. If you are interested in my kwirky self, message or stop by!

My name is Meowth. I really like to sleep. When I'm not sleeping, I tear around playing soccer with anything on the floor. But I really like to snooze. In the sun. Near a window. I have stripes on my back and spots on my tummy, and gorgeous green eyes lined black like Avril Lavigne (IYKYK). My mom says I'm a "nurturer" because I help her take care of the foster babies she takes in. I'm just curious though, cuz that's the way cats are. Anyway, I'm looking for my furever home. They call me Beauregard (it means beautiful gaze). My foster mom named me that because of this fancy tuxedo I wear. I was a pretty sick kitten when they brought me to her, but after a some tlc and vet care from the Doc, I've grown into the beautiful specimen before you. I'm looking for my forever home.
