Here’s how to make these autumn treats:
1️⃣ Preheat that oven to a toasty 350°F and line up your baking tray with parchment paper. It's cookie time!
2️⃣ Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine until they’re best friends. 😊
3️⃣ In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until they’re fluffy and light. Bring in the pumpkin, egg, and vanilla and beat them into the party! 🎉
4️⃣ Time to unite the dry and wet teams! Stir them together gently - no overmixing allowed. 🚫
5️⃣ Scoop the dough onto your tray. Each little mound is a promise of yumminess!
6️⃣ Bake for 15-20 minutes. Those edges should be just the right amount of crispy.
7️⃣ While the cookies take a nap on a cooling rack, let's make that frosting! Melt butter, stir in brown sugar and milk, and let it bubble for 2 sweet minutes. Then off the heat and whisk in the powdered sugar for that creamy dreamy frosting. 😍
