Both Spruce Hills Destiny and Almond Joy are nesting and hay stashing! I’m going out of town for a couple days so they’ll be due like two days after I get back. Destiny is bred to Spruce Hills Bodie and Almond Joy is bred to Spruce Hills gunner!

Spruce hills almond joy is starting to hay stash! She’s due in 11 days, I can’t wait to have some more of her babies! She’s 5lbs now so I’m assuming she has quite a few in there. I hope I get one similar to HPH’s Nitro Splash from the litter 🤞

It’s getting close to the end of the year and I’m honestly super happy with my placings! 39th in the HLRSC, 9th in zone 4 for the HLRSC, and 5th in Texas! Can’t wait to see final results!!

I went to the Mansfield FFA Alumni show yesterday and had a great time! I met a couple friends I haven’t seen In a while.

I won the SSD class with Anchor’s Beaumont and won 2nd place with MADHR’s She’s a Baddie
I also won the SJD class with HPH’s Nitro Splash
I won the BSB Class with Holland Lop Hideaway’s Jackpot
A homegrown a friend of mine has also won the BJD class with HPH’s Nugget
I didn’t win breed but had lots of great placings!

For my Netherland dwarf he won his class! The judge looked at a couple dwarfs for BOB and she took out mine a couple times! She said that the best rabbits in the breed were a Sr buck and my Silver Martin Jr buck! He picked the Sr for breed due to him being slightly more finished but said she absolutely loved my buck M&G’s Ayden “Blue Grass”

2024 HLRSC Nationals is so much fun so far! I’ve met some amazing top breeders in the nation and I’ve learned a bit too from talking with them! Good luck today for everyone!!

Anchor’s Hocus Pocus (5 legs) Is getting HUGE! She made a nest and I believe I feel babies in her belly! She’s always a good mom and her babies are always very fat and happy! How many do you think she’ll have? Her last litters have been 6 and 7 babies! She’s due in 2 days but I’m kind of hoping she’ll deliver on Valentine’s Day as the buck I bred her to was born on Valentine’s Day! Don’t mind her charging me at the end lol she gets protective since I was just checking her nest!

GC Anchor’s Hocus Pocus I gave all the buns hay tonight and as soon as I gave hocus Pocus some she immediately started hay stashing which I wasn’t expecting as she’s still 10 days away from her due date but I felt bad since she had no where to put her hay so I went ahead and gave her a box early hopefully this means she’s pregnant and we’ll have some more show babies! She’s bred to Duet Creek’s Finn, hopefully they’ll have nice babies!
