Why is it so important that you brush your dog/have them groomed regularly?✂️

Matting is a major issues when pups are not brushed/groomed regularly.

Matting can be very very painful for animals. The hair becomes to tight that every time they move the hair is pulling their skin very harshly. This can cause major skin irritation, damage to the skin, and even sores!

Matting also hides things such as dirt, debris, etc. When your dogs hair becomes matted the dirt and debris that gets on them will get stuck in that hair!!

Matting can also be a hide out for things like fleas, ticks, and wounds! When you are not able to part the hair to see your dogs skin there can be many things hiding under that fur!

Effective today (7/1/25) all square invoiced payments / payments made over the phone will have a 3% service fee.

We know this is an easy way for people to pay their bills & deposits but unfortunately our square card service has placed a fee on sending invoices via email / taking payments over the phone.

We want to continue this service for everyone. So, if you are wanting to pay for your service / deposits via email or over the phone then there will be a 3% invoice fee. If you pay at the office , in person, there is no extra fee!!!

It’s 4th of July Week! 🎉 While we want everyone to have the best time ever it’s important to keep your furbabies safe! More pets go missing on the 4th of July than any other Holiday!

1. Keep Your Pet Inside : even if you think your pup wouldn’t run away or jump their fence, when dogs get scared they will do anything to find a safe spot to go!

2. Make a Safe Space : Get their favorite bed, toys, treats, and don’t forget those anxiety meds!

3. Check their Tags & MicroChips : make sure your pets collar tag is up to date as well as their microchip info!

4. Keep the food & drinks for the people only : you don’t want your pup getting sick! So it’s best to keep the party food for the people only!

The list can go on! But just remember for the night, keep your pup in a safe & secure location!

Sometimes we have pups who come in that are very fearful of the grooming process. Whether it be from a fearful experience in the past , fear of all the new surroundings, or simply just anxiety taking over. The best thing ever is watching these pups who are so scared make such progress! Sometimes that progress is over the course of 1 visit and sometimes it’s over the course of serval visits and sometimes the fear never goes away but a trust is built and its able to happen with lots of love! But at the end of the day when we have amazing pet parents who help with the process and amazing pups like we have it is always such a rewarding process ❤️
