Full Life Farm

Full Life Farm Full Life Community Farm is a permaculture / sustainable living demonstration site located about sev

On our off grid little farm we use organic and permaculture based principles to grow food, infrastructure, and us. When we build, our projects use salvaged, recycled, homegrown, and or earthen techniques and materials. When we grow we do the about the same, incorporating the excremental gifts of our chickens and goats. February 2008, we planted our first pear trees and blueberry bushes. We had

come out to put these exciting new lives into their new home's earth when we found the beautiful 15 acres of forest next door being mowed down by heavy equipment. As we planted our little plants we teetered on the rope of hope making our tiny commitment to a future, our tiny mark so small in the world. But like a butterfly's wings our little acts ripple into the world. This year we see those same blueberries full of green fruit and look forward to those sweet blue berries come july.

The Sand Box is finished… well almost! It will hold about 4 tons of sand along with many fond memories. This was a relatively quick project. Probably 10-15 hours including the demolition of what was there before.

Kimchi in the making!! Kale, Napa cabbage, broccoli greens, ginger, garlic, cayenne, and salt will turn these finishing greens into a tasty, nutritious snack that can be enjoyed for many weeks. It’s a great way to make use of left over greens in the garden.

Renovations continue indoors! We’re working to finish this wall out to complete a project that was started nearly 8 years ago. Here we’re using some of the lumber we’ve milled for the base boards.

Update due to likely storms today!! Re-scheduling the workshop to May 1st.

Out of an abundance of caution, we're sad to have to reschedule our tree-felling workshop with to Sunday May 1st. The storm winds will make it unsafe to do tree work. We'll still be out there for a regular workday tomorrow if it's not too stormy, would love to see y'all there. Gonna be starting later, around 1pm when it should be mostly cleared up.

Hope y'all can make it on May 1st!

Day 2 of our Fence Project: Half of the back line is nearly done. Still need to attach the gate and connect the fence to the T-posts. A ratchet for the fence was very useful in making it as stretched as possible.
