The Mission was founded in 2009 after our veterinarian volunteered at a puppy mill rescue... Fueling our desire is to build a safe haven for any animal in need. Mazie's is currently operating a veterinary hospital in a leased facility. We are looking for ~ 25 acres where the final hospital and adoption center will be built.

💔 This 10 pound boy was found as a stray with a bb lodged in his head and a broken jaw. He is covered in fleas (already being treated at the shelter).

If we can get a committed foster for him, our 🏥 Mazie’s Mission vets can help him! Please let us know if you are interested by applying at www.maziesmission.org/foster

When fostering with Mazie’s Mission, we provide all the medical, food, toys, etc., that you need! All you need to do is provide a safe and loving 🏠, and get him to and from appointments at the Mazie’s Mission vet clinic in West Plano. Once he is adoptable, you can bring him to adoption events.

She is stressing out living with two other cats in the home which results in her being really stressed out. 🙏 Can you foster her, or better yet adopt her?

Amber is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and combo test negative. She is a year and a half old sweet and affectionate girl who wants to be an only child 💞

We’ll be at the 💫 Hollywood Feed in McKinney, and there will be lots of adoptable 🐈 and 🐕 ! If you’ve been thinking about adopting, this is a great chance to meet your options.

🤗 🎄 We’re feeling the warmth of the Christmas spirit this year! So many of you have sent us wonderful gifts 🎁 for the rescue pets we serve in our program. Last week, this amazing couple surprised us with treats for our rescue pets and treats for our staff, along with a generous donation to rescue services! 🙏

🥇 We have the most incredible community of rescue supporters, and we’re so grateful for everything you do. Every like, share, toy, food, or monetary donation makes a difference in the lives of homeless pets. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 💙

Tiana is the sweetest little pup you’ll ever meet. 💜 She was found with a broken leg and unfortunately it couldn’t be saved. 🏥
Tiana doesn’t realize that she’s a tripod and loves to play with other dogs. 🐶 She’s happy to play with toys on her own when the other pups just want to chill. Tiana hasn’t meet a stranger and is happy to take all of the pets you’ll give her. At 4 months old she is getting really good at potty training! She sleeps through the night which helps her human parents get sleep too. 😴 She’s happy to go into a crate when alone at home. 🏠 She has mastered walking up stairs in her foster home. 🏡

Adoptable Pipsqueak is so sweet to come home to, but she needs her forever home 🏡 . She is a nearly 7 month old month old kitten born in June, and doing great! She and her littermates were abandoned in a shopping center; left with no food and water! Our rescue got them to safety immediately- we had our rescue vets evaluate them and got them into loving foster homes! They have thrived in loving environments ever since!

Pipsqueak loves the kitten life full of playfulness and snuggles! She is great with other cats and the doggie in her foster home!

🧶 Pipsqueak is a combination of super sweet and gentle with a little bit of mischievous in her. She loves playing around with the other animals in the home, but then she’s also content to just kind of sit calmly and watch the activity. She would love a home where she can play but also get plenty of time to snuggle with you!

📝 We want to give you an update on our newest mama, Sweet Tapioca (her foster calls her Gracie). She is starting to spend more time away from her puppies, and we are beginning to see what her needs will be. Right now, she is still feeling insecure in all the newness. 💗 If you’re in her circle of trust, nothing’s better. She is sweet and docile, and the easiest dog ever. Right now she needs grace and slow introductions to new people and animals, we are hoping some of her fear goes away when she doesn’t have her babies 🐶 🐶 to protect. Her foster family is being patient and working closely with our rescue. We will send a behaviorist to help with training once the puppies leave, if needed. 🏥 She will also be getting spayed and an entropion eye surgery on both eyes. Entropion is an uncomfortable condition where her eyelid turns in towards her eyeball causing irritation. The surgery will alleviate that condition and she will feel much better!

‼️ Please consider fostering this boy 🙏

We are urgently searching for a foster 🏡 . This sweet boy, Thomas, has stressed out so much over his family having a newborn baby that he is acting out behaviorally. His adopters made the difficult decision to surrender him back to Mazie’s Mission. He once loved being with the other cats in the home, but now he tries attacking them 😞 . They’ve had to separate him from the others which seems to cause him even more stress. He needs a calm home, preferably without other cats while we continue to evaluate him.

If you can foster him while we continue to assess his needs and possible medical interventions please let us know ASAP.
