We’re sad to announce that due to inclement weather, we are canceling the adoption event tomorrow at Pet Supplies Plus - Lewisville, TX. The safety of our team, volunteers, and all of you is our top priority.

UPDATE (1/8) 6PM-Republic Services has suspended all Thursday (1/9) trash/recycling services due to inclement weather. No determination has been made for Friday (1/10).

WINTER WEATHER CLOSURES: Due to the Winter Storm Warning issued by the US National Weather Service Fort Worth Texas and forecasted icy road conditions, all City of Carrollton public-facing facilities will be closed to in-person activity tomorrow, Thu., Jan. 9. This includes City Hall, Municipal Court, recreation centers, libraries, Animal Services, Oak Creek Tennis Center, and Indian Creek Golf Club. Virtual services are strongly encouraged and remain available 24/7. Weather conditions will continue to be monitored to determine if extended closures are warranted, and updates will be made tomorrow (1/9).

TRASH/RECYCLING: Republic Services, the City’s solid waste disposal and recycling partner, will assess conditions and make a decision about Thursday's routes tomorrow morning (1/9). Until a decision has been made, place trash and recycling carts out as normal.

PUBLIC SAFETY, including 911 response, remains unaffected. Carrollton Texas Police Department, Carrollton Texas Fire Rescue, and Carrollton Public Works are fully operational. For non-emergencies, call 972-466-3333 or dial *247 any time.
