Good morning from our spooky crew.
Our too cute to spook litter are now 3 weeks old. Eyes are open and we’re slowly getting the hang of our legs. No teeth yet so we’re still getting all mamas liquid gold. Hopefully next week we can have our fist go at puppy mush so mama can get a break.
Have a great weekend fur-fam 🫶🏽🐾

The last 3 🐾 Summer time is such a sweet time to bring a puppy home. Give those “bored” kids something to do and teach them a little responsibility 🥰😂

A few tips for our new puppy parents 🫶🏽🐾
I asked the daughters if they could tell the families one thing they DON’T need to do with their puppy what would it be?
Here’s what they said
(Don’t rescue your crying puppy from the crate)
-mom
Yes I had to throw my 2 cents in too😂
When you take your crying puppy out of the crate you’re creating a very bad habit. Now the puppy thinks every time they cry you’re going to let them out. Instead of taking them out, put something in to help soothe them. Remember we want them to know this is a safe space for them. Crates should never be used for punishment. Your puppy should have a few naps in their crate throughout the day. This helps set boundaries and with potty training.
In another post I will share ways to help your puppy fall in love with their crate.
(Don’t abuse the puppy recall)
-Charlee
Please DON’T do this !! Charlee picked this one because it’s the one I have to remind her and her friends about the most.
When our puppies go home they are already recall trained. They learn this before they even learn their name. But if overused they will stop responding to it. The kids sometimes say it so often during playtime to get attention. Recall is for urgent situations when you need your pup to come back to you or when they’re making mistakes and need to be corrected.
(Dont leave your puppy alone)
-Camrynn
Oh Camrynn this is a good one girl.
DON’T leave your puppy alone. And what she means is don’t let your puppy have free range of the house. Sometimes kids will let the puppy out of the crate, play for a little while then get distracted and now puppy is on its own. This will create unwanted potty habits. I know the kiddos probably want the puppy to come play in their room and sleep in their bed but it’s just not a good idea while we are potty training. If no one in the family can fully supervise the puppy then puppy needs to be in the crate, or tethered so they can only access a small area. Let your puppy conquer one room at a tim
