This Satursday February 28, we went to Stewart Prison an came close to buying our first Wild Burror. There was a small glitch in the paperwork. Another gentleman from California got Dexter instead.

The wild horse gather operations that were conducted last year on the Wind River Reservation have already resulted in “astounding” ecological improvements, Wyoming Wildlife and Natural Resource Trust executive director Bob Budd told state lawmakers this month.

Wild Horses reseed the areas where they eat ,however, cattle ranchers will lie that Wild Horses are destroying the range which is a outright lie. If a cattle rancher tells a lie long enough everyone will begin to think that the lie is fact.

Conservationists say the presence of horses in national forests contributes to the decline of numerous endangered species, but others point to environmental benefits like reducing wildfire risk.

We are a officially a 501C3 Non-Profit as of December 12, 2023. I received my letter from the Internal Revenus Service.

First of my friend registered Silver Sage Wild Horse Sanctuary in June 2023 with the Secretary of State in Nevada. Then in November I met with my CPA who helps people exclusively with Non-Profits under $50,000 & over $50,000.

So in November we filed our Non-Profit with the IRS. On December 12, the IRS mailed me my 501C3 Non-Profit status.

I have my Website Designer putting together the site.
I am currently in Paradise Valley checking out another Wild Horse Sanctuary. Winnamuca, Nevada going to be looking at some cattle ranches that are for sale in this area. Last week I was informed that a cattle ranch was sold for 7.6 million on 3600 acres.

We are looking to purchase a Ranch around 3600 Acres in the area of Winnamucca or Lovelock or Smith Valley or Yerington.

I have also gone to California & looked at Freedom Reigns Sanctuary which is a gate community of 3600 acres which is home to domestic as well as Wild Horses. It is an extremely beautiful property. I learned alot about what I need to have to start our Sanctuary.

In addition, I drove down to Shingletown to talk with them which is the oldest Wild Horse Sanctuary started in 1978 it sits on 4000 acres. Then I went back again this year 2023 to talk to Diane who live on the property & runs the Sanctuary.

My plans are to purchase a ranch between 3000-6000 acres. We plan to save & protect over 400 Wild Horses and 15 Burrors on our Sanctuary.

We must have BLM come out & tell us how high our fencing needs to be.

Now that I have my 501C3 from the IRS I am beyond thrilled. I received the letter from the IRS on December 12 2023 approving Silver Sage Wild Horse Sanctuary. Accomplis accomplishing this is so exciting.

In June my dear friend Zanna registered Silver Sage Wild Horse Sanctuary with the Secretary of State in June 2023 we also have our EIN # .Excitement is all around us.
