As the wind has picked up and evacuations have been reinstated, the horses are safe at Fuji park. Box stalls, turnouts, and some awesome staff have made the best of a dire situation. Our hearts go out to the fire fighters fighting to make our community safe.

Franktown Meadows is eternally grateful to the staff, volunteers, and friends who rallied at a moment’s notice to efficiently evacuate 50 horses. Currently, the property is empty and “safe.” However, we know this can change as quickly as the direction the wind blows. We will provide updates as official information is provided. Stay safe and strong!

The Young Horse Show Series is designed to provide sporthorse breeders as well as owners, trainers and riders of all disciplines an affordable show venue to introduce and evaluate their young horses to the show environment and “put on necessary mileage” with appropriate and special classes suitable to the proper development of young horses. It is also intended to create a sales environment where numerous young horses are in a single location and their talents displayed in front of a buying audience.

The Franktown Meadows Riding Academy had 7 students participate in this weekend’s SNHSA Benefit Show. We are thrilled with their progress and always grateful for our horses for being such great teachers.

We have one more show this season! Save the date for October 14! Our Jumper & Equitation show will be Halloween festive! Come dressed in your spookiest, funniest, or sweetest costume! Prizes will be given away!!

We can’t wait to see everyone at the upcoming SNHSA Benefit Show this weekend. It’s going to be two days of beautiful weather, great friends, and fun competition!

The ring will be open for schooling all day on Friday. To ensure the safety of everyone, trainers MUST schedule a time for their riders/horses to school. Please text Aimee to get on the schedule. Priority will be given to those that do.

✅Gem is as patient as the day is long. She has that girl-next-door beauty with a small dose of feistiness. Gem specializes in teaching our tiniest riders how to post. Her little trot has just enough bounce to let them learn to go up and down in a rhythm without scaring them. Gem has also given dozens of kids their first taste of cantering and jumping. If your first-time cantering is on Gem, then you are lucky enough to belong to the elite "Gem's Canter Club".
