Hello friends! Dr. Cowboy here! 🤠 I’m a favorite at Sierra Veterinary Hospital as they helped save my life! Now I’m looking for my forever family to call my own. 🥰 I am a neutered 7 year old Husky/ Aussie mix. I love humans (the tiny ones too) and other dogs! I am headed off to doggie bootcamp with Stand Proud Dog Training tomorrow for a couple weeks to learn some basic obedience and then I will be ready for my new home! My new family will also get some complementary at home lessons with me to help me settle in. I would love to go to a home with other puppers to play with. I love cuddles and belly rubs and all the pets. Please consider opening your heart and home to me as I promise to fill it with so much love! ❤️ Cowboy

To our valued clients;

Here at SVH, we strive to provide the best care for you and your furry kids. As such, we like to keep you guys informed of any changes we may make that would have an impact on you. Due to staff training and continuing education, the weeks of July 25th and August 1st will have some restrictions to appointments. After those two weeks we will go back to our regular hours. Below we have listed our hours for those two weeks:

July 25th – closed

July 26th (7:30am-5:30pm) – open to scheduled surgeries and technician appointments

July 27th (7:30am-5:30pm) – open to scheduled dentals and technician appointments

July 28th (7:30am-5:30pm) – open to scheduled appointments only

July 29th (7:30am-5:30pm) – open to scheduled appointments only

July 30th (8:00am-2:00pm) – open to scheduled appointments only



August 1st – closed

August 2nd (7:30am-5:30pm) – open to scheduled surgeries and technician appointments

August 3rd (7:30am-5:30pm) – open to scheduled dentals and technician appointments

August 4th (7:30am-5:30pm) – open to scheduled appointments only

August 5th (7:30am-5:30pm) – open to scheduled appointments only

August 6th (8:00am-2:00pm) – open to scheduled appointments only



For boarding, we ask that you drop off and pick up your pets between 8:00am-4:00pm on the week days that we are open for these two weeks. For Saturday, between 8:00-2:00pm.

As always if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or send us an email. Thank you for your understanding and patience with us.

Meow! My name is Lou Lou and I am looking for a new forever home. I am about 9 years old and I cannot have kittens (the doctors say spayed). I was taken in by SVH so that they could do surgery to save my leg. I don’t remember what I did, but it sure hurt a lot! I am healed now, although I am still working on getting back to 100% of my old self. I am vaccinated and FeLV/FIV negative (whatever that means). I don’t know if I like kids, but I do like being loved – although only when I want it of course. I see the hospital cat and she seems alright. I don’t know how I would do with dogs but I’m willing to give it a shot. I really just want a home with love and a soft kitty bed that I can sun bathe in. Will you take me home? 🐾💘

This is Lou Lou. Lou Lou was surrendered to SVH so that she could have surgery that would fix her leg. She avulsed her right knee and did some serious damage to her ligaments and menisci. We did surgery and placed a pin through her knee joint until the surrounding tissues could heal and stabilize her joint. She has recovered wonderfully and is now looking for her forever home. She is up to date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, is spayed, and is about 9 years old. She is FIV/FeLV negative and has had recent bloodwork. She loves being pet and seems to do well with other cats. We do not know how she would be with dogs or children so ideally, she should be the only cat, or one of few cats, in a household and probably no young children. Please call SVH or DM us for more information! We are asking for an adoption fee of 120$ which would help us cover the cost of her vaccines, FeLV/FIV test, and some of her stay here at SVH. 💜🐾
