USDF Bronze and Silver medalist, Western Dressage TTT certified- 15+ years of experience teaching and competing and showing from basic grass roots to rated and recognized levels- and everything in between.

Focus on rider and horse in good balance, correct horsemanship and clear effective communication in all seats. Beginner to advanced. Minimum once weekly commitment required- times and days vary.

$50/Lesson - multi weekly or multi child lesson discount options as well!

Alright friends, listen up. A dear family friend, Nicole Thompson is facing a serious life threatening breast cancer diagnosis.

Nicole is a wonderful mother of 3 kids and wife to her husband Bill. She is a true horsewoman who takes pride in always doing the right thing and always puts others before herself.

It's time for us to step in and help even though she would never ask for it herself.

Please do not flood Nicole with texts or calls or messages so she can focus her energy on fighting this horrible diagnosis. We will provide updates as they come.

To put a long story short there's alot of unknown/multiple appointments coming up but she is facing a double masectomy surgery along with additional radiation or chemotherapy. We are encouraged and hopeful with the oncologist that we have a path and answers but it's not going to be easy.

As we all try to do in a time of crisis, we offer to step in and help- but I believe the hardest thing to ask for in a time of difficulty is to know WHAT to ask for. Thus said, I am trying to gather up donations and a group effort for gift cards for gas, dinners, house cleaning services, etc that can hopefully ease the everyday life stressors so Nicole and family can focus on winning the fight while maintaining a sense of "normalcy".

I have a few more fundraiser ideas in the works, stay posted! I am currently gathering donations for the family and skipping a gofundme in order to avoid fees etc.

Listen up!

Going into 2025 I am implementing a new year round program for my current and future students.

This applies to my clients and students who don't own their own horse, would like more saddle time and a chance to show, but cannot afford additional lessons/leasing etc.

My time is valuable, my horses are valuable, but I understand horses are a very expensive discipline to get started out in, especially if you're not certain you're ready to "full commit".

I'm going to offer to my students who ride minimal one/two lessons a week(< this is a must to qualify) an additional group "practice exercise ride" for $25, I will be there to get them all tacked up,on and generally over see, but not "teach".

To the kiddos(or adults, lol) who commit to this weekly (weather permitting) arrangement, I will happily provide ONE DAY shows (sorry, no week long or full weekends) showing opportunities(rider responsible for class and hauling fees) through out show season with said lesson horse/tack provided for an exchange of farm help/ labor. 😀

Separately, I have on-site partial and full lease opportunities available as well- leisure riding, open shows, to the A circuit quality mounts. Trail riding packages don't require lessons if you are the right fit( we have miles of trails in our backyard with some willing to mosey mounts)
Show mounts must commit to a weekly lesson program. :)

Horse show and riding season are just around the corner!

It's true- in order to bring out the best in some types of horses they need a consistent work program to stay on task, FIT, focused, and in some cases safe and manageable.

Unfortunately most horses are not like a quad- they cannot sit for 6 months and start right up from when you parked them.
