Despite her circumstances, Cera keeps smiling. Her owner moved to an apartment that didn't allow dogs so Cera was relinquished to us; at 9 years old it would be hard for most dogs to adjust but after yelling at us for a few days she settled down and soaked in our love. The bad news is that Cera has a huge, cancerous tumor on her butt and unfortunately there isn't much we can do. Due to the location and size it's impossible to remove and get clear margins and even if we try it most likely will grow back. She's on meds to try to slow the growth. Cera deserves a home for whatever time she has left; the cancer has not spread to her organs but it's hard to know if the mass will become unmanageable or uncomfortable (for now it is not). Also difficult to know if the cancer will spread to her organs at some point or how fast. What we do know is that Cera is a delightful little pug that gets along with other dogs, loves people and she would be very grateful for a home ♥️🙏🏻

Our babies are hoping to get some goodies for Valentine's Day off of our wish lists. Can you send a few things to them? Lots of fun stuff to buy like treats, etc, but our biggest need at the moment are X-pens and crates as a few of the ones we have must be replaced due to "p*e rust" 🤣 We use these items as holding areas while deep cleaning the floors every morning. Kris Kringle, now 'Potato', went from being unwanted as a giveaway on Craigslist to the star of his new family 🌟. Potato has adapted well and loves chasing his human brothers around the yard; however, he enjoys cuddling them so much more ♥️. He also enjoys neighborhood walks and overall is a great addition to the family. We are so happy for Potato and his new parents and siblings 😊

Hondo the handsome was roaming the streets alone before being impounded; we were happy to rescue him from the shelter. He's about 6 years old and you can tell he had it rough because he's a little nervous around strangers at first. He was just at a short term foster's house and he did great! He's got a little anxiety but loves to exercise so as long as he's allowed to work off that extra energy he's not only well behaved but cuddly and playful. He's a bit dog selective so we would have to see how he fits in if you already have a dog. Apparently Hondo is a world class kisser so once you've earned his trust watch out! Our Board Member, Michelle, on the right, welcomed her friend, Lisa-Marie, who flew in all the way from MA to adopt little Gnocchi ♥️. Her new name is 'Dune' and after being born at our facility to her stray Momma, Teagan, she's now spoiled rotten and loved in her new home. As you can see, Dune already has an extensive wardrobe featuring sweaters to keep her warm 😊

Pound Cake, 2 years old, is SUPER special and we are happy he was surrendered to us as we know we can find someone that will absolutely adore him (besides all of us). He was born with a congenital deformity in both of his front elbows and there is no realistic surgical correction; but Pound Cake is very mobile and at times chooses to just stand on his rear legs 💪. Our vet believes he is not in pain and after observing him for almost 2 weeks now we don't think he's in pain either. He's a little shy and tentative which is understandable considering our hectic facility overwhelms a lot of new dogs, but he is very dog friendly and loves people. He is a sweetheart who will fill your life with love and with very small adjustments (like having to carry him sometimes) he will fit in any home. Orzo, now 'Polar Bear', is another beauty born to stray Momma, Teagan. Brianna and her family are happy to report thats 'Bear' has adapted well and already is besties with pug siblings Po and Nova 😊. He spends his days chasing leaves, playing with his siblings and cuddling with family. He's doing great with potty training and sleeping through the night and in true pug royalty form loves to be be carried around in his comfy carrier. Overall he's a delight and is adored ❤️

Bateman is only a year and a half old and already has had a raw deal. His previous owners couldn't potty train him so he ended up living most of his life in a crate. Enough of that! He's a small guy but has a big personality; now that he gets to see a little of the world he's out to explore and have a good time. Bateman loves the company of other dogs and is always trying to get them to play with him; while he's figuring out the potty aspect we have noticed he's a quick learner, especially when treats are at stake, so with some patience and consistency he will be just fine. He's got a lot of energy but also takes time to stop and get in some serious cuddles. Bateman deserves a second chance and is anxious to meet his new family ♥️

Tortellini, now 'Billie Bean', is yet another one of the adorable pups born to stray Momma, Teagan. Cortlyn and Raye were first in line and very excited to adopt Billie and report that so far she loves to play fetch and cuddle. She recently found her voice with a cute little bark and also loves to zoom around. Wherever she goes, Billie Bean shows how sweet and spunky she is and she is adored by everyone she meets but especially by her new Mom and Dad. ♥️

Fettuccine, now 'Astro', was born at the Pubble to his stray Momma, Teagan. What a lucky boy to be able to join the Chung Family. His older pug siblings Gigi and Rocko parent him and his human sister adores him. The older pugs are getting a lot of exercise running from Astro 😂. In true pug form he screams at Mom if she's too slow making his food and is a champion sleeper. Life is good for Astro 😊

Many of you were (rightfully) worried about this little girl who was surrendered to the Carson Shelter. We got her! Her name is Gucy and we will take good care of her and ASAP she will be ready for adoption; we just need to do some testing, have our vet examine her and get her spayed if needed. We will keep you posted on her but wanted you all to know she's safe♥️

Penne, now 'Loki' was one of the first of Momma Teagan's beautiful litter to go home. Teagan was rescued from a bad situation then turned over to us; little did we know she would soon give us 8 beautiful white pups. Stella was first in line and already adores Loki; he plays with sister, Minnie, and keeps Mom company while she's working. He also loves playing with his toys, taking car rides and being the apple of his new Mom's eye ♥️

Meet Baguette! He's about 9 months old and a complete bundle of energy. We believe him to be a Frenchie/Pug Mix but don't know for certain. What we do know he's an irresistible charmer and will make an active person or family the perfect companion, especially if you have a young playmate for him. His previous owner was a little older and could not handle his energy; with a little patience and training Baguette will grow into an even better doggie.
