These last few weeks have made us feel defeated! But!! We are still going and the horses are healthy and happy! Never did I think we’d start feeding hay in July and replacing our barn and tons of fencing back to back!🤦🏼‍♀️

We may be hosting a fun fundraiser to help defray some expenses. It may be a fun gift basket raffle, a filly raffle or a training/growth & conditioning raffle! It’ll be a great opportunity for someone plus will help us out a lot while we try and rebuild! 🙏

So I just want to shed some light on a situation I’ve been following for a long time now. It is a large horse rescue that has taken the world by storm. This post is only to raise some awareness, not to degrade.
This rescue tugged at America’s heart strings and managed to raise $2.5 million dollars to allegedly buy out several kill pens/holding facilities. With the agreement that these operations would not operate for the remaining of the year. $2.5 million of a $50,000 goal they raised and in a very short amount of time. Heart strings were tugged all around the world and people pulled together to help.
However, a team of investigators dug up all the information that USDA reports show that these “pens” were still operating a shipping horses before, during as well as after this massive fundraiser was going on. 🤔 very strange!
This rescue ensured everyone that these pens were empty and that they wanted to continue raising money to do the same with other pens! America fell for it yet again!
Their leased facilities is not equipped to handle all these said rescued horses. Soo…what the heck happened?? How are they still doing this?!
There is so much more to this story I can’t even explain 😔 I guess what I am trying to get at is please be aware where your hard earned money is going! There are so many small rescues out there that could use your help but rarely ask for it!
Rescue and Rehab is only a small part of what we do because we never feed the kill buyers, we skip over them as much as possible without donations!!

Back to cleaning up we go!!
We packed a bag and fled to the churches basement, it broke out every single window on the north side of the house and the wind took your breath away!!
Sending big prayers to everyone else who was affected!! 🙏

1) Buckskin Filly-This girl is going to be tall and built just right! She’s willing to learn and will excel in the ranch/roping world. Should mature to approx 15h. Currently learning her basic ground manners.
2.) Palomino Filly-This girl is going to be the perfect family horse. She comes from the kindest genetics and she loves people and being handled. Will stay right at that sweet spot height at 14.2h. Knows all her basic ground manners. Has a gorgeous crimpy mane and tail that is going to grow grow grow!! 😍
She does currently have a fresh cut on her knee but should heal right up.
