Rivers who is here for Board & Review has been doing great with building confidence so he doesn’t feel the need to lash out! He’s a reserved boy who just needs a bit of understanding.

We get asked often “what is Board & Review?”. Board & Review is just that, boarding with the added benefit of reviewing/polishing up your dog’s obedience skills!
This service is great for families who have a trip lined up and they want their dog to enjoy going to camp to practice their skills and have social time instead of just sitting idly at a regular boarding facility.
Every once in awhile life gets in the way and keeping up with your dog’s training is pushed to the side so in those situations Board & Review is great for getting your dog back on track and then scheduling a follow up lesson to get the owner back in the groove of being consistent.
Board & Review is an add on service for our graduates and is not offered to those who have not completed our program.
Class is in session! One of our expectations for dogs is for them to be able to maintain the “place” command while the family and other pets move around the room OR go out of sight briefly.
This helps teach dogs that they can be independent from the family and that the command doesn’t immediately end just because no one is present. This is also helpful when owners want to head to the kitchen to grab a drink, use the restroom without a shadow following them there or answer the door to grab a delivery.
Off leash obedience means off leash freedom and fun!
We love doing group training sessions on top of 1 on 1 lessons with our students! During a structured pack outing around the field, our students get to practice their listening skills when excited and running around.
This is a great way to allow group play while at the same time keeping over arousal at a minimum.
Our students practicing the art of sitting still! It is important for pet dogs to learn how to be calm and that it’s ok to “do nothing”. Many dogs have to be taught how to settle otherwise they stay in a frantic, amped up state of mind which doesn’t bode well in a home environment.
