It is with mixed emotions that we are letting everyone know that North Atlanta Equestrian/Rockin M Equestrian Center is officially closed due to the economy and the landlord ignoring the fact the farm is in desperate need of repairs. The October show is also cancelled. We would like to direct everyone to the Five Points Show Series that will also be held on Oct 28 as well, that is right down the road from us at Bartow Co Saddle Club. End of the year awards will be mailed to everyone that participated in our shows. We thank everyone that came out and showed with us this year. We would like to thank all of the staff that has worked with us over the years, Emily Jones, Cindy Routh, Bayron and Gus Ortiz, Kathleen Losey and Katie Costas. Your hard work was very much appreciated.

Good morning everyone. Just wanted to jump on here and let everyone know that North Atlanta Equestrian will now be known as Rockin M Equestrian Center at Old Mill Farm. We are taking on a fresh new perspective. So be looking at both pages right now until we transition everything. The question on everyone’s mind right now is are we still going to have the last two shows at our facility. The answer is a huge YES! The show must go on, the last two shows are still on schedule for 9/23 and 10/28 so be getting your horses ready and especially your costumes for the last show, our Halloween show. We are going to have some fun!

We are offering full board options for both mares and geldings. We are located on the historic Old Mill farm just 5 minutes from downtown Cartersville with easy access to I-75. Our property expands over 178 acres and has multiple large pastures. Features include oversized sand dressage arena with solar lights, fully lighted jump arena with M10 footing, and a cross country arena. Also located on the property is a 5/8 gallop track for hacking or conditioning of your horse. Barrel racers this is and excellent place to condition your horses by using the track for breezing of your horses. All disciplines welcome. Outside trainers are welcome. All XC fences have been repaired since our last show and another new jump added to the mix. XC schooling is open 7 days a week at this time except for the Friday before our shows. Next show is May 20! Hope to see you all there!

North Atlanta Equestrian is seeking volunteers for our May 20 schooling show. Volunteer positions include scribe, stadium crew, score runners, and stadium jump judge. Volunteers who are able to work the full day receive lunch, a free entry to a future show, and current GDCTA members will have their hours submitted for the Liz Faso Memorial Volunteer of the Year program.

The volunteer hours accumulate from Jan 1 through Dec 31 and will be awarded at the Awards Gala in January.

1) $1000.00 to the person with the most hours volunteered at GDCTA events and participating shows (check the events calendar to find the events that will work for you!)
2) $750.00 to person with the 2nd highest number of hours
3) $500.00 to person with the 3rd highest number of hours
4) $250.00 raffle consisting of every volunteer with 24 hrs volunteering

Features include oversized sand dressage arena with solar lights, fully lighted jump arena with M10 footing, and cross country pasture with inviting fences from Amoeba to Beginner Novice. Also located on the property is a 5/8 mile gallop track for hacking or conditioning. GDTCA and WDAA recognized shows on premises throughout the spring and summer. Opportunities for riding development through group trail rides or specialized training by one of our riding instructors on staff. Resident trainer Anthem Day is available for dressage and Eventing training and resident trainer Emily Jones is available for all Western riding, including cattle sorting and barrel racing. 24hr equine knowledgeable staff on premises. Family friendly atmosphere. Care includes feedings and daily turnout.

To anyone who will be attending the show this Saturday March 25, please know that our main driveway on a Old Mill road is closed. All vehicles and trailers will need to enter by the chemical plant next to the railroad tracks. Sign says Dellinger Management services. We plan to have signs up to help direct traffic and Mitchell will be directing all vehicles and trailers on where to park. Thank you!

NEW FOR 2023 YEAR-END AWARDS!

We are so pleased to announce our partnership with TYM -formerly Branson Tractor- who will be providing a very special show series to our Western Dressage competitors this year. All Western Dressage riders who compete in a minimum of four shows this year will be eligible to win a custom belt buckle.
