Today I met Betty Ann Cormier demoing Cheticamp rug hooking. For 56 years she has hooked tiny loops using hooks her husband carves by hand. She uses thin yarn. She is fast and hooks every hole. Wonderful to meet her.

Rescued Baby possum being bottle fed visited today!

Our imperfect yard. I noticed in Richmond many lawns were perfection, no weeds with lawn sprinklers on smaller lots. I am enjoying the yellow weeds on our farm.

June and Vivian of Cartersville, Virginia, came to the farm tour! Lovely to see them. Now they know what I do!

Baby birds born in side my door wreath. We stopped using the front door!

My Temple Hall Sheep Club 4H friends came to help yesterday for my first farm tour. Lizzie from William and Mary College. Lizette from Ashburn. Cindy and Melonie are punch students who came to demo! I could not have hosted this event without them. The Cumberland High School Band Students helped with parking. Superb job! Karen, Donna and Linda helped by sharing hooking with guests. Met neighbors for the first time!
