CLAYTON UPDATE:
What a sweet happy boy he is. He is going to have to remain at the clinic for several more weeks so his weight gain can be monitored and also his wounds can be checked (to ensure they aren't becoming infected) and his bandages can be changed. We are ecstatic that he is wagging his tail, coming to the front of his run to greet us, and talking to us to let us know he is happy to be safe, but we are still very aware that he is still a very sick boy. He still has crystals in his urine, heartworms, numerous deep roadrash wounds, and is 20 lbs underweight. We love him and are going to continue to fight for him and advocate for him. He's such a good boy. Please continue to donate, share his story, and pray for our handsome guy.

Just a little Piper cuteness to add a smile to your day! She is the perfect mix of Sugar and Spice and everything wonderful!!! The gentleman who found her is coming back to work in the Leake County area. He’s bringing her a goodie bag of all kinds of treats, toys, and comfort items. Piper is SO lucky she has a strong village.
Our sweet Penelope is feeling much better. She is still on antibiotics and getting medicated baths but hopefully we can bust this baby out of the Vet Clinic this week. She has a foster who is going to give her all of the loving she so needs, hopefully rescue commitment is next! She is so precious. Our Vet Techs have done such a wonderful job not only taking care of her medical needs but, have socialized her and loved on her too. ❤️🥰
🐾❤️🐾 Kari and I went out and visited with the “Farmhaven” pack. We brought treats, who doesn’t love a good treat!? We gave the puppies their 1st vaccine, dipped them for ringworm 😬, gave them a flea/tick med, and wormed them. Lots of loving but I don’t think they felt that way….lol! We visited with the adults and gave them some treats. Spay appointment for Momma and Neuter appointments for Daddy and the other three males will be made Monday. We are going to do them at Carthage Vet Clinic. We can give the adults their vaccines and do an exam on them that way. Thank you for sharing their story, committing to help with spay and neuter (we have an amazing supporter sponsoring Momma’s spay) and donating towards their care. We are actively looking for a Northern Rescue for the puppies and three younger males.
If you would like to donate food for these HUNGRY and in the case of the puppies HANGRY babies and the rest (over ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FIVE) we feed Purina Dog Chow and Puppy Chow. We also feed Purina One Dog Food (any kind.) Treats are any rescue dogs love language and we have over 175 in our care (not counting the 15 FIFTEEN in the Farmhaven Pack!) You can drop it off at Carthage Veterinary Clinic (ask for Kari.) You can also do a pickup order at Carthage Walmart, Philadelphia or Kosciusko Tractor Supply. If you would like to send us some food just DM us for our address. We desperately need food. I had to figure up the amount of food we feed (just for our 175 dogs) and we feed over 5400 lbs of food a month! That is insane!!! And expensive! We are on the list for a food program but because times are hard for everyone we haven’t been called for a pickup yet. 😪😪😪
We appreciate all of you so much!! We have a small but amazing village!!!
