We are under contract! Ownership change on/around November 16th. But we have great news!!! It's staying as is. Gwen is going to keep it the same as I have ran it for the past 13 years. This was so important to me to have it stay open in safe, reliable hands for your pets to still have a place to go!
The new name will be Stellar Canine and offering the same great services plus more! I will be there to help her transition, help her new groomers, and make it as seamless as possible. If you have an appointment on the books it will stay. There will be no break in appointments or services.

If you have appointments scheduled with us, we are still grooming as normal. Nothing has changed just yet.
If you aren’t sure when your appointment is, just message us. I can look for you:)

The schedule is currently full for grooming unless we should have any cancellations, or if we have some extra help one day. We do have a waitlist going in case of any openings.

I need to take a minute and get everyone up to speed on what's going on before the gossip mill gets going.

I want to start by saying thank you to each and every single one of you that have trusted me with your pet for the last 12 years! I have become friends with so many of you through the years and it has been a pleasure. It has been a very good, but very hard 12 years. I taught myself how to groom and was dedicated to traveling and learning from the very best in the business. I wanted to give Panola County grooming at the highest level I possibly could. I put so much effort into teaching and passing along as much as I could about pet health, care and grooming.

Some of the best memories with the colorful poodles, competitions, parades, public events, newspaper and magazine articles. There was nothing better than watching the smiles on kids (and adults) faces and get so excited when they saw my colorful living creations. 12 years of solid 5 star reviews! We made sure your pet was cared for properly and looked it's best through the years. We have lost too many to count that we have done for most of their lives. We loved sharing the years with them and was sad to hear every time one had passed over the rainbow bridge.

Grooming unfortunately is extremely hard on a person physically and mentally. I can no longer groom like I used to, so I have been forced to make a decision that didn't come lightly. I have decided to put Tops N Tails property up for sale. We will still be grooming/boarding as usual and if you have an appointment, it's business as usual. We will keep everyone posted if/when it sells. We will have plenty of time to give everyone notice.

Please refrain from messaging me or Madi. We know everyone will have questions but for now we don't have many answers. Madi will let everyone know what her plans are for the future when she gets it all lined out.

There will be a NADD Dock Diving Event here this weekend! It is open to the public to come watch and see what it is all about. Bring you a chair and some shade and hang out for a while:) Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We will be closed for grooming tomorrow, Friday July 8th. Boarding pick ups and drop offs will be using the weekend schedule. 9:00-9:30 & 4:30-5:00.

On June 21st and June 23rd we are going to be doing just Baths. ….(This will include the bath, blow dry, brushing/desheding and nails.)

Our next available haircut appointments are in OCTOBER.
We can still get bath/deshed dogs in usually within a week.

Boarding does not usually fill up unless it is a holiday, but it is always good to save your spots in advance if you can:)

We do have a cancellation list going for anyone who would like to be added to it. If we have any appointments open up, or we have some extra help one day, we will fill those openings from the list.

Just a friendly reminder😊… when you get your appointment reminder message the day before your scheduled appointment, you cannot reply to that message other than to confirm you are coming. If you need to cancel or reschedule you have to call the shop number and talk to us.
Those messages are automated, so we are not able to see any other responses.

➡️Also. Boarding and grooming appointments get the same reminder messages. I wish we could do 2 different messages, but we can’t. Grooming dogs should be dropped off between 8:00&9:00. Boarding dogs can be dropped off anytime between 8:00&3:00 during the week (unless other arrangements have been made) . And 9:00-9:30 or 4:30-5:00 on the weekends.

⚠️You are responsible for your appointments. It is not our fault if you miss your appointment. For grooming we give you an appointment card with the next scheduled appointment written on it. Reminder messages also go out the day before your appointment. (But don’t just rely on those messages, technology does what it wants sometimes! Lol) If you don’t know when you are supposed to come, call and ask:)

For anyone not on the Pre Book schedule, we are booking October as the next available grooming spots.

We do have a cancellation list going if anyone would like to be added to it. There are occasionally days where we have extra help, and we will add dogs from that list to fill those added spots.

New/Revised No Show and Late Pick Up policies.
Due to an increased number of people No Showing their appointments and thinking they can pick dogs up after closing time, we have been forced to make some changes.
We have been lenient with these things in the past, but these rules will be enforced from here on out.
