My oldest and dearest friend, Jordon, has three precious CKC-registered Schnauzer puppies ready for their new homes next weekend. 💐 There’s one tiny girl and two handsome boys—each as cute as can be!

✨ Colors: One is a stunning Merle and the other two are beautiful Parti Merles.

These pups have been lovingly raised with plenty of care and attention. Jordon is far from a backyard breeder—she goes above and beyond to make sure her dogs are healthy, happy, and well-socialized.

Not all grooming salons are created equal. 🐾 If you’re looking for a new groomer, here are a few things to consider BEFORE booking:

✨ Take a sniff – A clean salon shouldn’t smell like a kennel. While there may be a little wet dog aroma here and there, it should never hit you with a wall of stink.
🫧 Check the cleanliness – Is the shop tidy and well-kept? Clean tubs, tools, and floors are a good sign that the groomer cares about your pet’s health and safety.
❤️ Watch how they handle pets – Reputation matters. Are they known for being gentle and patient or rushed and rough? Don’t be afraid to ask around or read reviews.
🐶 Ask about products – Professional groomers use pet-safe shampoos and conditioners. If they’re using cheap, harsh products, your dog’s skin and coat could suffer.

Your pet deserves a groomer who values their well-being, not just their business. 💜

Today marks one year since I opened the door to Rikki’s Groom Groom Room.

This year has been full of challenges—like an unexpected location change and then learning to make the most of a small, unique space—but it’s also been full of accomplishments like forming an LLC, purchasing a building and even attending my first grooming expo. Every step has been a blessing—the good and the bad.

A year ago, my goal was simple: to create a safe, welcoming space where Panola county could bring their dogs to be cared for with respect in a clean environment. I pray I’ve done just that.

I know I didn’t get here on my own. I’m beyond thankful to God for giving me the strength, the determination, and the guidance to move forward, even when I didn’t know what the next step was.

I’m so grateful for my husband, Skyler, who has stood by me through it all, my children who inspire me every day, my family and church family for their constant support and prayers, and the ONE behind the scenes whose help—seen and unseen—has meant more than words can say.

And of course, THANK YOU to each and every client who has trusted me with their pets. Your support has made my dream and tiny business possible.

Here’s to many more years of GROOMS SO NICE YOU SAY IT TWICE!

🐩🐕Price Update for Standard Doodles & Poodles 🐕🐩

After reviewing this past year’s finances and speaking with other local groomers, I’ve realized that my prices for standard-size doodles and poodles have been too low. To continue providing the time, care, and quality grooming your dogs deserve, I will be adjusting my pricing.

Starting March 1, the base price for standard doodles will be $100, with additional charges based on coat condition and temperament. Matting fees will now apply, and severe matting (pelting) will require an extra charge for the necessary pre-shave before the bath.

I truly appreciate your support and understanding as I make this adjustment. If this change puts me outside of your budget, I completely understand—I just ask that you please let me know if you need to be removed from my schedule so I can accommodate others on my waiting list.

To better serve you and your pets, I’ll no longer be scheduling appointments after hours. Going forward, all clients will need to book their next appointment before leaving their current one. This helps keep everything running smoothly and ensures I can focus on grooming during the day.

📅 If you haven’t received a notification confirming your 2025 appointment, it means you’re not currently on my schedule. Please reach out to me—preferably by text—to get your pet booked.

~Important Update~

No-call, no-show appointments have been a growing issue, and as a small business, my time is incredibly valuable. Effective immediately, clients who no-call, no-show will be removed from my regular rotation and placed on my waiting list for 2025.

I understand that life happens, and plans can change. I just ask that you let me know in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule so I can adjust my schedule accordingly.
