We just wrapped up our last week of camp! Thank you to all the families who trusted us with their children this summer! We had a great summer and hope you all did as well. For those of you who are not in our lesson program, we hope to see you again at our April vacation camp!

These 2 horse and rider teams have each come a long way! Tarzan, the paint, is 28 yrs old but you would never know it. He really seems to enjoy popping over little cross rails here and there and although Gertrude is a big tall girl, she is just starting to figure out how to use herself!

We had a long hot show night at Valinor on Wednesday with one of the biggest crossrail classes I have ever seen there! We didn’t get back until around 11:00 PM! So, I didn’t take many photos and we all just wanted to get the horses home! Dallas said he was beat!
It was nice to have Christina and Logan come join us at Valinor to help with some of the younger riders while Ana is away! Thanks ladies!

These guys have all done an amazing job and we are so proud of them!
This is Olivia’s first season doing W/T and she earned reserve champion tonight on Dallas. She actually tied with another rider and had to answer a question to break the tie. She was nervous about the question so we did a quick review about horse facts.. unfortunately, the question involved naming different types of tractors. Unfortunately, at the age of 7, Olivia had limited knowledge of tractors so the other rider took Champion and Olivia earned Reserve Champion.. congrats Olivia!
Natalie moved up to WTC and cross rails this year! She had a difficult time hearing the ring steward at the last show and didn’t pin as well as she would have liked. However, she kept working at it and did awesome tonight. She earned a first and a third in WTC which resulted in Reserve Champion and a 3rd and a 5th in cross rails! She had a smile on her face the whole time and thanked the pony as they exited the ring for being the wonderful pony that he is!

Aubrey moved up to the 2 ft division this year and although she was nervous to make the move she has been working hard at it and sticking with it. Tonight, she earned 2 first place ribbons resulting in her first champion ribbon in the 2 foot division in a class that had a lot of riders!!! Congrats Aubrey!!
I forgot to post photos from week.. so I added in one of Frankie from last week where she took Fiona to her first show as well as her first time off property. She did a great job helping Fiona work through it all and earned some ribbons too!! Frankie also earned champion in the 2 ft division on Greta last week. Congrats Franks!

If you have a child between the ages of 5 and 15 who are interested in riding horses, have them join us for an exciting week of horsemanship, daily riding lesson, arts/crafts, and games this summer at Hidden Acres Equestrian Center in Carver, MA!

Each session runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM with additional drop off and pickup times available if needed. We have limited spots available! Each session is $300 with a $75 discount if you sign up for all three sessions. No prior horse experience required!

Session 1: June 24-June 28
Session 2: July 15th - July 19th
Session 3: Aug 5th -9th

Aubrey rode Dallas and Lindsay rode her mare, Kali, in a little jumping lesson today. Both of these young ladies have made a lot of progress in their riding over the winter.
