Attention Middleborough Residents

Preserve your right to Carry. Attend the Middleboro Town Meeting Monday April 28th at Middleborough High School auditorium at 7 pm.

The gun law passed last year creates a prohibition on the right to carry in administrative areas of public buildings. The same law allows towns, by vote of Town Meeting, to exempt the town from this prohibition. Article 27 on the Middleborough Annual Town Meeting for Monday April 28th We need all Middleboro residents who care about second amendment rights and public safety to vote YES on Article 27.

It's important to note that exempting the town from the radical anti gun provisions of the new gun law keeps the existing town policies in place. These policies kept the people of Middleborough safe since the town was created.

Gun free zones remove the threat deranged shooters face from armed law abiding citizens who have been properly vetted by Middleborough police. Gun Free zones do not make people safe.

Please Note: This exemption does not allow concealed carry in active voting area. Regardless of the outcome of this exemption there will be no concealed carry in voting areas/

We've lost one of the best. This week we lost longtime State Representative Susan Gifford to cancer. Susan represented Carver, Middleborough and Wareham since 2002. Susan is one of two recipients of our Legislative excellence award which she earned in 2019 for supporting our causes. Our condolences to her husband Mark, a tireless campaigner and role model for other spouses of political candidates. May she rest in peace.
