Bring a bag of dry or a case of canned food to Dogstyle, Inc. this Sunday and spend some time playing with our new litter of pittie puppies and kitty that we rescued! We are looking for dog food brands like Nature's Recipe, Nutro, Natural Balance, Blue Buffalo, Royal Canin, or IAMS. CELEBRATION TIME: Happy and Sad Tears

After 27 years of service, Jennifer M. will be retiring next Friday. Jenny has been here since the beginning (1996) and has been a team leader, received her certification (CVT), maintain equipment, train staff, repair things, schedule staff, create logs, assist where needed and among other things organize everything. We do want her to know she has been a valuable piece to The Animal Doctor puzzle and she will be dearly missed. If you would like to share a note or two about Jenny by posting here, dropping off a card or when you see her, say Congratulations.

Do you have to give injections to your pet and wonder how to dispose of the needles? The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends placing used needles and other sharps immediately into FDA cleared sharps container (available through pharmacies, medical supply companies and online.

If you cannot use an FDA-cleared sharps container, you may use a strong, re-sealable plastic container such as a laundry detergent bottle. (Soda bottles, water bottles, milk cartons are NOT strong plastics for sharps.) Once the container is 3/4 full, seal the lid firmly with duct tape, label it "DO NOT RECYCLE" and place it in the household trash.
