Tonkin being awesome in the $50K James H. Fisher International Grand Prix at Blowing Rock
Oriana would like to let you know that we have hired a new trainer and would like to welcome him to our barn family to help Kris, Lisa D, Fernando, Guillermo, Adalaid & Lisa J. A little information about him is below. More information will follow.
His name is Carlos Aramburo. He grew up riding and training jumpers in Bolivia, South America. He earned multiple national championships in Bolivia in the Children, Junior, Adult and Open Divisions. In 1983 he was chosen to represent Bolivia in the Pan-American Games.
He is a past head of the NCHJA Jumper Committee and member of the Board of Directors from 2005-2008.
Carlos was awarded the NCHJA Sportsman of the year in 2004 and the Horseman of the year in 2005 & 2006.
Carlos has successfully competed in the Hunters & Jumpers including Derbies and Grand Prix’s on the east coast for many years.
He has coached kids, adults and professionals from Walk Trot to the Grand Prix level.
He should be joining us by April 1st.
