It has been a crazy month! Headed out on a much needed vacation and will be back at it September 5 to take care of all my wonderful patients! Have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!

PLEASE be careful when walking your dogs! These high temperatures make pavement super hot. Stick to early mornings and later after the sun goes down when temps are lower. I know, getting up super early is rough. I have to get Earl out each day if possible. But we want to avoid burned paws and heat stroke!!!

Please refrain from walking your dogs on the asphalt during these hot summer afternoons!

On WRAL News at 4 I will have a closer look at how long this hot and dry pattern could last.

It’s National Rescue Dog Day! We have had Earl for a month, and as you can see he’s loving life here. 😂 Adopting a dog isn’t the right choice for everyone, and that’s ok. But when the opportunity arises and the dog is a good fit, it can be great for everyone! And if you ever need help finding the right dog, check with our friends at . And they can help with training like they are with Earl!

Hey everyone! Meet Earl Grey, goes by Earl. He joined the family on Friday. He’s about a year old, and a good boy. As we work on training and getting him settled, I’ll be working the schedule around getting home for potty breaks and exercise breaks. Looking forward to getting him into daycare as well once he’s on track. So bear with us as we move through this early stage of having him HOME.

Hi Everyone! Socks would like you to know we are ONE week out from a big online store upgrade! It is still based with Covetrus, but is essentially a site upgrade which will be called vRxPro. We are getting all the administrative details and how-to’s to make sure we are ready. On your end, the experience will be much easier and will be a new web address, but all your history and stored info will migrate right over. The next time you go to log into the store, it’ll redirect you. Again, it is the SAME company, just a site upgrade. The goal is to make everything easier for you! We’ll update you again as things get rolling. If you have any hangups after the upgrade, let us know. They delayed our launch to fix some bugs noticed by the first group of practices that had their stores upgraded. So hopefully we don’t see too many issues!
