Is Your Pet Due for a Dental Cleaning? 🐾

Dental health is vital to your pet's overall well-being! Regular cleanings can prevent serious issues like gum disease, tooth loss, and infections. But before your furry friend undergoes a dental procedure, it’s essential to ensure they’re healthy enough for anesthesia.

Why Blood and Urine Tests Are Important:
✔️ Assess Overall Health – These tests give us a clear picture of your pet’s internal health, including kidney and liver function, which are crucial for processing anesthesia.
✔️ Identify Hidden Issues – Even if your pet seems healthy, these tests can detect underlying conditions that might not show outward symptoms.
✔️ Ensure Safety – Pre-anesthetic testing helps reduce risks, ensuring your pet’s dental cleaning is as safe as possible.

Book your pet’s blood and urine tests today to give them a bright, healthy smile with peace of mind. Your pet deserves the best care!

February is Pet Dental Health Month! 🦷🐾

Did you know that good oral health is essential for your pet’s overall well-being? Just like humans, pets can suffer from dental problems like plaque buildup, gum disease, and tooth decay. Left untreated, these issues can lead to pain, infections, and even organ damage.

Here are some tips to keep your pet’s teeth healthy:

1. Brush Regularly: Use pet-safe toothpaste and a soft-bristled toothbrush to brush your pet’s teeth. Start slowly and make it a positive experience.

2. Dental Treats & Chews: Specially designed dental chews can help reduce plaque and tartar. Look for products approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC).

3. Diet Matters: Some pet foods are formulated to promote oral health. Consult your vet for recommendations.

4. Regular Vet Check-Ups: Schedule annual dental exams. Your vet can detect and treat issues early.

5. Professional Cleanings: Depending on your pet’s needs, your vet may recommend professional dental cleanings under anesthesia.

Warning Signs of Dental Issues:

Bad breath

Red or swollen gums

Difficulty eating

Excessive drooling

Loose or missing teeth

Celebrate this February by prioritizing your pet’s oral health. A healthy smile means a happy pet!
