Parrot came to PCACC as a feral stray caught in a trap after roaming her community for several months. Unfortunately Parrot is still extremely fearful of us and doesn’t allow us to leash or pet her. She is friendly with other dogs. Parrot does take treats from us despite our attempts at making friends.

Dj was a young pup found as a stray in August of 2022. That’s right, TWO YEARS AGO. Dj has been overlooked for so long and we can’t understand why.
Dj gets along with other dogs, loves going on adventures, playing with toys, and cooling down in the pools. He knows his basic commands, loves attention, and is a volunteer/staff favorite.

All Lucy's Hope dogs have been taking out of their kennels and they are all really nice. No issues. I love Astro and Katrina loves Rosco and Sonny. They are all doing well, please come and adopt or foster if you can we have no more space at all.
The last of the dogs from Lucys Hope please help us find homes we are at the most capacity we have had since 2019.

Apricot was dumped in a crate outside a local animal hospital in April. Apricot was pretty unsure of people when he first came in, but quickly showed us how much of a love he actually is! Apricot is an extremely smart dog and living in a concrete kennel 23 hours a day is taking a toll on his mental state. In the past few weeks Apricot has become extremely stressed, spinning, pacing, and jumping nearly non stop in his kennel. Apricot is dog friendly and knows sit, down, roll over, and shake. Apricot doesn’t deserve to be living at the shelter for another second and deteriorate anymore than he already has. We would love to see this boy get out asap and live the life he deserves.
Apricot needs placement outside the shelter by 8/7/24 or he will be humanely euthanized. He is available for foster, adoption or rescue transfer!
