❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️We love to receive updates on our dogs. Here is a dose of absolute happiness and joy. Please keep the updates coming, they make our hearts happy. Both our babies we got from the Humane Society. Bucky I have had for 3 year and Roxy we just recently got this past June! They are loving and have done so well getting use to each other! Love them to death!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️This pictures and this wonderful update is exactly why we do, what we do. We thank all our amazing supporters and a special thanks to each and every one of our loving adopters. update on kai. you had named him blake (d.o.b. 9/26/22).he’s a wonderful guy… very loving, sweet and stubborn, handsome and charming, smart and challenging, willful and playful. he can also be both a rascal and goofball. he is also not an aussie 🙄.he’s very large, very fluffy, and very strong. he’s happy and healthy. he does, however, have a very sensitive g.i. system. this has proven to be quite the puzzle. he’s doing well on probiotics and a prescription diet. we need to be very careful about treats and chews. seems he doesn’t respond well to “rich”/fattier foods/treats. thank goodness for pet insurance!kai is a great gift and i’m so happy to have him in my life.
Hi there - We adopted our pup Koda from Valley Humane almost 2.5 years ago - and he's such a joy!Koda was formerly known as Twizzler - his mom was Smartie, and he had siblings at VHS named Jolly Rancher, Gummy Bear, Twix, and more. I attached the original pic we saw on Petfinder and our first pic together when the staff at VHS put him in my arms. Now almost 3 years old (and a whopping 78lbs!), Koda is a California doggo who spends his weekends on hikes or at the beach (just like Ken!). On weekdays he supervises his humans, basks in the backyard, and guards the house* (*which Koda defines as making friends with every neighbor and pup that walks by). Koda is always on the chase for a frisbee or a squeaky ball. Butter and cheese are his favorite treats. His greatest accomplishment to date is converting his human mom to be an outdoorsy morning person (truly a Herculean feat). His DNA results are here if anyone in his family is interested or reaches out. Thanks for taking care of (and finding homes for) Koda, his littermates, and his mom. We can't imagine our life without him - he is so loved and cherished. We know this year has been especially tough given the volume of animals being rehomed and surrendered to shelters and rescues. We sincerely appreciate all the work you do!
Our Dine to Donate was a huge success!
Thank you to our supportive community, You are all the best!
We can not say thank you enough.

We have the best adopters with the best updates. We hope you enjoy the updates as much as we do.
This was Godiva now known as Willow, and has settled in quite nicely. This is what a little love and compassion will do for a shelter animal.
Willow was adopted through petsmart.

The shelter is no place for senior dogs! It can be very stressful! Valley Humane Society is looking for ADOPTERS or FOREVER FOSTERS for our seniors!
Chance and Buddy are a BONDED PAIR and MUST stay together ❤️. Their hearts are broken as their human has passed away. They are good boys and love to sleep with you. We do believe they are house trained. Chance is a heavy sleeper sometimes. They are 12+ years old. They have made friends with another senior dog at the shelter as well.
Shorty is a sweet girl who we also believe is house trained. She misses her owner who unfortunately has been in and out of the hospital and can no longer care for her. She has made friends with Chance and Buddy. She is also 12+ years old.
Chaos has only been with us a little over 24hrs. She is still nervous but she is house trained and walks well on a leash. We have not introduced her to the other dogs yet. Arizona City Fire was holding on to her until they found somewhere to take her after her owner was placed into hospice. She is also 12+ years old.
Please call 520-836-0904 or come in if you would like to meet them! We are located at 15699 W Aniceto Rd in Casa Grande, Az 85193

Having our dogs end up in wonderful homes like this is why we do what we do. These updates make our hearts soar. Thank you for sharing with us. If you've adopted from us, we'd love to hear from you.
Hi, just wanted to share with all of you on how well Spot is doing. We have renamed her to Laci. She loves her toys and managed to take 12 into her crate. We simply adore her. She is slowly getting used to us and is more puppy like every day. She is such a good girl !
Thank you to all of you for all you do❤️
