Lucy has a new home as of yesterday, was a very tough decision to sell her, but she was not getting the training and attention she needed. She was number 5 of 5 of my personal dogs. She now lives in Oregon with a family and they have 3 kids. She will be going on daily runs and to work with the new owner. Of course her training will continue and she will be used for hunting. I could not be more happy and excited with where she is going.

Up for discussion, selling for a client. Rip, this big red guy will go through a brick wall for a bird. Big dog, big drive. Rip can be a bit of a handful at times, all he wants to do is work. Rip is house broken and crate trained. Rip will require someone who can dedicate time to work with him on a consistent basis. He is not a bad dog by any means, he just wants to go and be worked. I had Rip for 4 months last year, he went through obedience, collar conditioning, force fetch etc, he is a excellent a excellent marker, he delivers to hand at heel nicely. Rip is a powerhouse swimmer.

Up for discussion, Red Skies Girl with Kaleidoscope Eyes “Lucy”. It’s a tough decision and one that I have to make. I have 5 of my own personal dogs and Lucy is number 5. I call her my back burner dog because she is always the last one I work. Has nothing to do with her but my time. I have made plans and goals for a few of my other dogs, some things I have always wanted to do and it will take away more time with her. Lucy has good bird drive and desire, very good marker, she is steady to shot. She delivers to hand at heel almost perfectly. She is currently running back piles and sitting on the whistle. This is far as I have gotten her. I took her hunting once this past season and she did pretty good for her first hunt. She is small in size, she is right around 50lbs. She is AKC and UKC registered. I ran her in some HRC tests in 2023 and she went 4 for 4 in started. At the time she was not UKC registered, I sent all the paperwork in but it might have been late. I have her pink slips from her passes. I have her priced reasonably for her age and her training. She is also up to date on her shots.
Date of birth May 20 2022.

Please be aware she is a over 3k and please talk to your wife or husband before I spend a ton of time giving you more information on her. Not trying to be rude, just being honest. Lucy is crate trained and rides quiet on the truck, actually I very rarely hear her bark. She also can run a ramp to a topper or a chassis mount.

I had Attie late 2022 through spring of 2023, ran her in 3 HRC started test and a couple AKC Junior tests, her owner Jennifer put the last passes on her to receive both a started title and a junior title. They just had their first duck hunt of the season, looks to be a successful one at that! Good job team Attie!

Tucker went home a couple days before Christmas, he spent some time at the Barker Ranch yesterday retrieving birds and making his owners very happy.

I have 2 Owens 3 hole dog boxes for sale, both are in good shape. Both come with rubber mats inside each hole. Both boxes have top storage for training and hunting equipment. Paid 1150.00 for each. Selling for 950.00 each or best offer. 48” wide by 36” deep

Edit, willing to sell whole set up not including the Lucky Duck kennels for 9k. Trailer is a 2023 7x20 7k gross.

Exciting day, Kibby has a awesome new hunting, house dog home! She will have her kids of her own to play with too! She will be living happily in Grants Pass Oregon.

Looking ahead to 2024, first I have to say 2023 has been a excellent year, was busy, I overbooked on a couple months this past summer but we got it done. Was definitely some long hot days and weekends. I’m starting to get inquiries and spots filled for spring and I want to start making plans now. May 2024 we plan on shutting down for that month as of now. My daughter and her husband are expecting their first baby in March and we are planning on heading to North Carolina to spend time with them in May. Right now Laura and I are talking about driving there to see them, I also need to get to Pennsylvania also to get my mom to her final resting place at a cemetery where she has a plot. I love to drive and I would like to see some places on that trip. Dogs that are in will be sent home for that month, very sorry for the inconvenience. But we will pick up where we left off at in June. Out of state dogs will have to wait until June also.

As far as hunt tests next year I do not plan on running any, maybe a couple so I can get Ripleys last finished pass to get her HRCH title. We want to focus some time and money on our new property we purchased this past year.

Went on a little duck hunt with Ripley this morning. The weather was perfect for hunting, the birds were responsive, my shooting sucked on a few birds. Finally connected with a couple and Ripley was more then happy to retrieve them both.
