2024 was our first year trying barn hunt and I’m happy to see both of my girls that competed made the top 25 for their breed in their class. Odessa is #4 in open and Heiress #20 in novice division! Super proud of both of them and ready for our first barn hunt trial of the year this upcoming weekend! 🐀🐭🐁

Happy 2nd birthday to our Lumen x Gus 2023 litter! This has been such an impressive litter at only 2 years 3 have earned their UKC Championship, 1 grand champion, multiple working service dogs, 1 narcotics detection dog, and multiple sporting titles across the group including rally, barnhunt, FastCat, and dock diving, and many in training for more sports to come! Hope they all had a great day getting some extra pets and treats 🎉🥳🐩

I’ve been slacking on posting updates on our new placings and titles this year but Illumination Poodles has been very busy!

Last weekend we attended a UKC conformation show with Lumen, Odessa and Parka from Lumen x Gus 2023 litter. It was Lumen’s first ever conformation show and she received 2 best in show altered and one reserve best in show altered! Odessa needed 5 points to finished her championship, after a miscalculation from her last show in March when I thought she finished, and is now a UKC champion! Odessa also won her first grand champion class out of a bunch of very nice dogs. Parka came home with two reserve placements in the champion class and made top three all classes she was entered in.

It was a lot of fun bringing these girls out to show off!

Update he has found a wonderful home locally to us ❤️

We have an adult rehome available in Seattle, WA due to no fault of his own. He is 3 years old out of our 2021 Lumen x Gus litter both parents are fully health tested and titled. He has competed in barn hunt, lure coursing, has his CGC and Trick novice. He is a bigger guy around 55lbs and 24 inches. He is very social with people and dogs, has basic obedience, and been groomed regularly since a pup and used for creative grooming. He is medium-high drive, lower food drive but does work well for treats, and has a great off switch. I’d love to see him go to an active pet or starter performance home.

UKC CH UCD Illumination’s Her Royal Highness “Heiress” CD RE OA OAJ NF DM passed her OFA hips with a good rating and normal elbows and patellas! Hoping for her to bring the next generation of Illumination Poodles 🥰 I’m in love with her temperament as a performance dog, service dog, and companion. She is such a beautiful, athletic dog to go with it.

Happy 3rd birthday to Lumen x Gus Louisiana litter! I couldn’t be more proud of all of these pups and what them and their owners have accomplished in 3 years. From obedience, agility, rally, dock diving, scent work, fastcat, conformation, service work, and making the most wonderful companions they have done it all. Bayou sired his first litter producing a beautiful first litter. They are everything I had hoped to produce and more and excited for their future as the next generation of Illumination Poodles.
