Our animals are kept in foster care and adoptions are only done through Petco on Saturdays from 1 to 4 pm (We stop taking applications at 3:30 so that we have enough time to finish adoption paperwork.). NAFA has no paid employees. Instead a dedicated group of volunteers works to place animals from our foster homes into foreer home. Our volunteers help NAFA provide - education, adoption, rescue, di

saster relief, low cost spay/neuter, and fun community events. At this time, we do not have a "shelter". All of our animals are kept in foster homes. we are vey fortunate to have a group of dedicated foster homes to help socialize the animals. Animals in foster care receive special attention and are worked with so they can more easily adopt to a home environment. We hold pet adoptions, fun events, training events, and education events.
