Have you noticed when you force your dog to do something, it takes a long time for training to catch on? If you guide them, then reinforce the behavior with positive motivations, they will show how eager they are to learn. Patience is key while guiding our best friends.

I would like to apologize that we still don't post here alot. I do want to update everyone on numerous changes that are going to happen with our business that are quite exciting!

1. We are fixing our website. We have found our website is not streamlined and can take a bit of work to get through. We want to make it as simple as possible to get through everything.

2. We have added a new way to pay for services. We now accept Venmo, where you will not have a service charge when using a debit card or credit card to pay for services.

3. We will be offering package training deals where you can save money by signing up for numerous training sessions in advance. This is an additional option. You may still pay for each session individually if you choose.

4. We now offer pet sitting if you are going to be out of town and you don't wish to kennel your best friends.

5. We are offering services to walk your dog each day if you don't have time to do so due to your busy schedule. Please contact us for additional information on this.

6. We will be preparing training videos that you may subscribe to. This may help if you don't have time for individual training sessions.

7. We are working on getting a monthly newsletter that you can sign up for.

8. We are working to set up events that people can participate in together to help with socialization.

We look forward to all these changes as our business grows.

Great news for some residents! The Ridge at Blackmore has partnered with us at Absolute Alpha! We will be doing monthly events for the dog owners who are currently residents at the Blackmore apartments. This will start at 2pm on Friday, May 12th in the dog run. I look forward to working with you!

Happy !! We challenge you, when you take your dog/s for a walk, don't only bring p**p bags. Bring a trash bag and pick up trash that is on the ground. If alot of us put in a little effort, we can clean Casper quite quickly. Let's take pride in God's creation and keep it clean.

We highly advise taking your dog for a walk in the morning before they have breakfast and a walk before they have dinner. This will help socialize your dogs to the environment that we bring them into. This also develops confidence with your dogs.

Due to last minute cancelations, we have been struggling. I don't have the heart to charge people when they cancel a session in less than 24 hour notice. I do not want to charge people for services not rendered. I at this point am asking for no more last minute cancelations. If this continues, we will be closing our doors by the end of May.

Due to the upcoming weather, we would like to announce that we will be closed for business on Wednesday and Thursday. It is predicted to snow starting at 5pm today and the winter storm warning continues until 11pm on Wednesday. Please ensure you are prepared for this storm. It is also predicted to drop below -10 degrees. Please keep your pets safe.

All canceled appointments will be rescheduled and clients will be contacted. Again, please stay safe and only travel if necessary.

Born 7/9/20 (2 ½ yrs old)
DNA test confirmed 50% Border Collie, 50% GSD
Earned her AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, trained as a service dog for PTS but has fear aggression issues as well as aggression towards submissive dogs that get into her "space."
She knows all basic obedience as well as anxiety interruption. She is moderate energy, pretty happy in a big yard playing ball with her person. She stays home all day, doesn't chew. Excellent watch dog.

I have a challenge for the dog lovers of Casper, Wyoming and the surrounding area. In a moment, I am going to post information on a dog that is going to be put down in roughly 24 hours unless we can find a home for them. If we find a home that fits in this time, Absolute Alpha will donate $1000 to the humane society!

We would like to apologize for our few posts as of late. We are working to get another trainer on board with us so you can schedule on the times that best suit you. We are also working on setting up training events at a facility with another trainer to do group training events. We will keep you posted on updates to the best of our abilities.

On a side note, please be safe on the roads today. The roads are slick, so leave earlier than you normally would, brake earlier so you don't slide through your stop, and be considerate of other drivers. We want everyone to make it to and from their destination safely.

We would like to remind everyone that if you cancel an appointment with us with less than 24 hours notice, we have to charge for the visit. We are scheduling a time slot for you when we could be booking that time slot for another client. Please give us an adequate amount of time to fill that time slot with another client. This will help us with overbooking as well.

We are fully booked for January at the moment, but we are working to contract out another trainer until we move to an LLC.

We are still booking in February. If you would like an earlier training, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our contracted trainer is impressive with her knowledge and experience, and for a limited time, you will receive a discounted rate on training when you book with her.
