You may have heard Stephany’s laugh — and we guarantee it made you smile. Stephany is a bright light on our Lodging team, known for her patience, warmth, and magical way with dogs (and people!).

The pups adore her calm, gentle energy, and our team couldn’t imagine the day-to-day without her. She embodies everything we strive for at Urban Tails — compassion, consistency, and a little sprinkle of joy in everything she does.

🎃 Monster Mutt Mash Halloween Costume Contest Winners! 🎃

What a turnout! Our contestants brought the treats, tricks, and a whole lot of tail-wagging creativity. Altogether, our pups received 376 votes — and every single one was well deserved!

This month, Urban Tails is giving back to our community with a November Supply Drive benefiting Interfaith of Natrona County, the Salvation Army, and Seton House.

We’re collecting essential items to help members of our community in need — things like:
☕ Tea & instant coffee
🥛 Boxed milk & pantry staples
🧂 Cooking oil, seasonings, and pop-top canned goods
🧴 Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, and lotion
🧻 Toilet paper, first aid items, and personal hygiene products

🎃Halloween Safety Tips for Your Pets🎃

Halloween can be a little spooky for our furry friends! Here are a few tips to help keep your pets safe and stress-free:

🕯️Keep decorations out of reach – Pumpkins, candles, and cords can be dangerous if chewed or knocked over.

🍫No human treats for pets – Chocolate and xylitol (found in some candies) are toxic to dogs and cats.

🚪Secure doors & gates – Trick-or-treaters coming and going means extra chances for escape. Keep your pets safely indoors.

👗Costume comfort comes first – Make sure outfits aren’t too tight, itchy, or restricting movement. If your pet isn’t a fan, a festive bandana is always a win!

📢Create a quiet space – Some pets get nervous with all the doorbell rings and activity. A cozy room with their favorite toy, a brain game or activity, and even some calming music can help them relax.

🐾Ask your vet for support – If your pup is extra anxious, talk to your veterinarian about helpful options and resources to keep them calm and happy through the night.

With a few precautions, Halloween can be safe and fun for everyone—including your pet!

Yesterday, our team refreshed and renewed their Pet Tech CPR & First Aid certifications — led by our general manager and certified Pet Tech instructor, Kylee!

Most of our staff were already certified, but this hands-on refresher ensured everyone stays sharp, confident, and ready to respond in any situation — whether at Urban Tails, at home, or out in the community.

From recognizing early warning signs to providing life-saving care, our team is ready when it matters most.

Education is at the heart of what we do. We believe continued training not only strengthens our skills but deepens the level of care we provide every day. Because when it comes to your pets, we never stop learning. 💚🐾💙
