This is why I love what we do. Meet Blue, she's a absolute sweet heart. Her first few stays with us at a cottage she'd run out as we walk in or if we went out she ran in. She was pretty timid and afraid of boarding. This is her 3rd stay and now she's not only comfortable but actually loves affection from us, not to mention playing.

It took some time to win her trust but now when they arrive both her and brother are always so excited for their cottage stay.

A senior staying with us at the cottages has a few medical issues. Because of her conditions most groomers won't touch her. She's also a little difficult to groom at home. But today she was looking little rough after a long stay. She tends to get the spins and found herself pretty matted up with Prarie grass and food that had collected around her neck and eyes. As she can't balance all that well when eating she tends to fall into her wet food despite our attempts to catch her. We've done our best to clean her up dawn spent several hours picking out the burs and cleaning her eyes with a wash cloth. Which she absolutely hated. But she still was in rough shape. So a call to our friend Kara to give us a professional hand as we don't do grooming. We'd like to say thanks and give a huge shout out to our friend Kara Sterner a local groomer who came and got her cleaned up the rest of the way. She's all soft and pretty now. Don't forget to vote for our friend Kara in the oil city best! Ms. Carmella sure appreciates it and can go back to her spin class.
