The Kennel Attendant is responsible for the care and monitoring of daycare pets and boarding guests during each shift. For this reason, the Kennel Attendant must be compassionate and enjoy working closely with all guests.

This position is offered as full-time or part-time, regular work at the discretion of management; scheduled days and hours may vary during the week, weekends, and holidays.

Job duties include; feeding, watering, and medicating pets on a set daily routine. Cleaning all guest areas including kennels, playrooms, and yards. Supervising dogs during playtimes both indoors and outdoors and ensuring the constant safety of all guests on premises. Providing excellent customer service and scheduling reservations, checking guests in and out.

Thank you to everyone who reached out to us about the news article reported earlier this morning!

Our manager has been calling individual clients who have their fur babies staying with us currently to personally discuss our eventful morning!

About 10:40 this morning, our manager smelled smoke in her office. The SRPL team immediately took action as she called the fire department. With the help of Casper Animal Medical Center crew, all pets were evacuated from the building while the fire department began inspecting.

There was no fire present and within an hour and a half, all pets and staff were able to re-enter the building.

We had our HVAC and Electrician techs come out to do a full inspection and the cause of the smell was found - this was a filter issue and presented no immediate danger and has since been fixed!

We appreciate the Casper EMS and Natrona County Sheriff's Office for their time and immediate response to our call today! We also want to thank the Casper Fire Department for their thorough investigation and inspection of our building to determine the cause of the smoke! And thank you for the follow up this afternoon! We appreciate you!

This is Kylee and I wanted to personally thank everyone that was able to contribute to the supply drive on such short notice!

The supplies were much needed and used by volunteers and residents to start cleaning the mess the floods left behind.

Thank you again for the support! We couldn’t have made this happen without your help! You all are incredible!!

The severe storms this afternoon caused more devastation this afternoon. The entire county is going to be needing help for months to come.

We are sharing this from the Humane Society!!

Animal shelters across the U.S. are dealing with an overwhelming number of animals. Many have run out of space. It is no different here. Metro is running out of space for both cats and dogs. This is not a good situation for them. When they run out of space, they are forced to make difficult decisions regarding their longer animal residents. We have been trying to help by transferring animals as space in our facility becomes available. We are asking that, if you are thinking of adopting a pet, PLEASE look at your local animal shelters first!
