Maple Crest Farms is located at 7009 Maple Ave in Castalia, OH. This page is kept up to date by and for the Maple Crest Family. We are a "family" of people who love and enjoy Tennessee Walking Horses. The farm is not only a boarding and riding facility it is a great place for horse lovers to come together to share with all the love of the breed. Sunday morning - a beautiful day for horseback riding and some firsts for these two riders.

Mitchell rode Cinnamon ba****ck for the very first time and finished his ride doing the barrels in a flatwalk on Cinnamon.

Ryleigh finally rode Ginger at a show canter around the outside arena, completing 2 or 3 laps without stopping at the gate. (She did do this after adding a saddle on Ginger's back.)

Fatma has always wanted to ride a horse but never found the opportunity to have her dream come true until today. (They used to live in the Middle East where there's an abundance of Arabian horses to ride.) They now live in the area and came to Maple Crest Horse Farm where Fatma rode Captain while her husband pushed their 5 month old son in a stroller following along with horse and rider. They all enjoyed her first, but hopefully not the last, horseback ride on Captain.

What a beautiful day for "Tuesdays with Terry" at Edison Woods! Joyce finally stepped away from taxes to join Terry, Lance, Sally and Anne for the joy of riding their Tennessee Walking Horses through the meadows and woods. Loveetta also came on Saturday to enjoy the nice weather and conquer her fear of riding. She did a great job on Cinnamon and is planning on making horseback riding a monthly activity.

Saturday turned out to be a beautiful afternoon for Makaiya to celebrate her birthday riding horses at Maple Crest with her friends Raelyn, Miranda and Makaela. Mitchell, Ryleigh and Lance were there to help the beginners and had so fun riding before the party began.
