Aww.

I found this letter from Hank to Smash from like 2015.

They were both exceptional 5-Gaited horses. 💚💛

Dear Smash,

You are the most beautiful mare I've ever seen and I would love to take you on a picnic and show you around the farm one day! I want kiss your hooves 10,000 times. You make my big stallion heart burn with desire and all my stomachs tingle with butterflies. When I first saw you, I just stared at your picture and fell in love. Will you come to the farm and go out on a date with me?

P.S. - Don`t let Splash discourage you, he's just jealous.

Two years ago I was praying Ollie would make a miraculous recovery. At the time of the initial injury he was given a 1% recovery chance, and I was prepared by my vet for what his future most likely would hold.

I would not accept this, and Ollie decided to fight through it as well.

Previous to his return home I had spent three years looking for him. This horse is a part of me and a part of my soul. When I found him I was past ecstatic! I got in contact with the individual that had him, and within 24hrs Ollie was back home with me.

This injury surfaced two rides into him being home. I was devastated, but Ollie fought & pulled off a miracle. I still contribute that miracle to all of the thoughts and prayers every one sent our way.

To each and everyone of you: thank you more than you know! 💚💛

It's surreal knowing the injury he faced, overcame, and never looked back on.

& that alone shows the size of the heart in a horse.

Boomer has come soo far since the beginning of the 'ordeal' he went through.

Slowly, but surely, he's getting back to being the old "Scotty" we knew and loved.

We still have our challenges, and off days, but he gets better and better every day! I'm truly thankful God brought this horse back to me for so many reasons, and I'm blessed to be his owner!

I'm nuts & he bolts, but we're a perfect match that I would have never imagined a few years ago. It's amazing how with time God allows you to know why.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in both him & I. Without the support and patience of those along the way we would never of made it this far.

Also, a very huge and grateful shout out to the best farrier ever & his amazing hand with this horse. (Nate Brachear)

Thank you, Summerlea Farm, for everything. Y'all are truly amazing people, and I feel so blessed to have y'all in the saddlebred world, and for all the help and positive words along this journey.

Test rode Boom in the newest Bona Allen saddle! Prior to taking it to the saddle shop I got the saddle for free. I paid $15 for the saddle stand and he gave me the saddle bc noone else wanted it. Winning! Starting to have quite the nice Bona Allen collection. I love these saddles and the craftsmanship put into them!
