Polly recently went home from her board & train and has been an absolute star! She showed signs of resource guarding as a puppy so we got right on that when she got here, teaching her that she doesn’t need to guard, and how to act around important resources like food. Since being home her parents report that she is much calmer and even eats her food slower. We love to hear it.

What is that!? A potty pad!!??

Yep! It’s a potty pad. The majority of puppies and dogs should never be exposed to potty pads, plain and simple. They look and feel like carpet😬 so not a good choice as a potty alternative. BUT, in certain cases, they can be a great tool.

Chloe here will be traveling with her owner frequently and as a 3lb Pomeranian going potty outside is not always a safe or realistic option. So Chloe is learning to distinguish potty pads from carpet and dog beds. She went with me to my nail salon appointment and was such a good girl! She will be learning basic obedience like how to walk on a leash and staying put in commands.

Chloe’s mom was made fun of by other trainers… but when we say we are balanced trainers, WE MEAN IT! We don’t use one training system for every dog and truly work with the dog in front of us. And we listen to what’s important to YOU.
