Summer In The Rockies 5!!! ✅

It was a hot week 🥵 and everyone continued to rock it! 🔥🔥🔥

🏆 Imna Mosa and continued their championship streak with another tricolor in the 1.10m Amateur Jumpers and a 🥉 in the classic!

🏆 Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko also continued their consistent streak with another championship in the Opportunity Walk Trot! They also had great rounds for ribbons in a competitive crossrails division. QT was also Reserve Champion 2’ USHJA hunter with Jennifer!

🏆 To The Point and were Reserve Champion Pre-Children’s Equitation and had solid trips to be in the ribbons in a tough Pre Children’s Hunter division! They were also 9th in the Pre Child Adult Hunter Classic! Dylan was also Champion in the 2’9” USHJA hunters with Jennifer only showing one day with a 🥇🥇🥈!

🏆Lamaase Van ‘T Bosveld and were Reserve Champion of the 1.00m Low Child/Adult Jumper Division and 4th in the classic!

Golden Opportunity continued to improve in the 3’6” greens with 🥈🥈🥉🥉 and a 4th in the division with Jennifer!

Buck A Roo and had another consistent show with top ribbons in the Pre Adult Equitation and Hunter divisions. They were also 6th in the Carousel Hunter Derby and 11th in the Pre Child Adult Classic!

Chancellor and continued to grow their partnership with some solid trips in the Low Adult Hunters and a 🥇 in the under saddle! Chance also continued his education with some beautiful moments in the 3’ Green hunters showing off that his future is very bright!

Summer in the Rockies 4 was a blast!

🏆 Sky’s The Limit and were the ultimate in consistency with both a championship in the Rusty Stirrup Equitation and a Reserve Championship in the Rusty Stirrup Hunters.

🏆 Lamaase Van ‘T Bosveld and had a fantastic debut with a Reserve Championship in the 1.00m Jr/Am Jumpers and winning the Classic 🥇.

🏆 Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko had a clean sweep of the walk trot division 🥇🥇🥇 for Champion and moved up to crossrails with a pair of 🥉🥉.

🏆 Buck A Roo and were Champion in the Pre Adult Equitation and had some beautiful trips in the Pre Adult hunters for top ribbons 🥈🥉!

🏆 Imna Mosa and were Champion again in the 1.10m Amateur Jumpers with a 🥇🥇🥈.

Hippocampe Batilly and put together some beautiful trips for good ribbons in the Low Adult Hunters! Hippo also had some lovely trips in the 3’ Greens with Jennifer up to earn ribbons in a competitive division!

Chancellor and had some fantastic trips for ribbons in the Low Adult Hunters. Chance and Jennifer also earned ribbons in a tough 3’ Green division.

Deveena and gained valuable experience doing another International derby and earned ribbons in the 3’6” Jr/AO Hunters.

Golden Opportunity and had solid trips for ribbons in a competitive 3’6” Green division.

Chacorie M and showed hors concours in the Low Adult Hunters and had some of their best trips ever! We’re excited to watch this young horse grow up!

Summer In The Rockies week 2! So proud of everyone for more good riding and another great week!

🏆 Skylar Hulkko and Woodlands QT Pie demonstrated consistency in the Walk Trot Poles with a 🥇🥇and 🥈 to earn Champion! QT was also a model of consistency in the 2’ USHJA hunters for Reserve Champion with Jennifer!

🏆 Chancellor and had another solid week with a Reserve Champion in the Rusty Stirrup Equitation and great ribbons in the Rusty Stirrup Hunters. Finishing the week with 4th in the 2’ Carousel Hunter Derby! Chancellor also got ribbons in a large, competitive group of 3’ Greens with Jennifer. We’re so exciting about this young horse’s progress!

🏆 Deveena and were fabulous in the $20,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, finishing 12th in the first round, 11th in the handy and 11th overall! They were also Reserve Champion of the combined 3’6” Jr/AO Hunter division!

Hippocampe Batilly had some fantastic rounds for top ribbons a big, tough 3’ green division! The future is bright for this youngster!

Golden Opportunity continued to gain experience in the 3’6” Greens with Jennifer up, for ribbons on a competitive group!

To The Point and had consistent, solid trips their first time in the pre children’s division. We’re excited to watch these 2 continue to grow as a partnership! Dylan also had top ribbons in the 2’9” USHJA hunters to start the week!

Chacorie M and kept putting the pieces together in the USHJA 2’6” hunters as this baby learns what horse showing is all about, showing us he’s a superstar in the making!

We kicked off our summer with a great week at Summer In The Rockies 1!!!

Highlights include

🏆 Chancellor and were Reserve Champion Rusty Stirrup hunter with some beautiful trips! They also had lovely rounds in the Rusty Stirrup Equitation for ribbons in a big division and were 5th in the 2’ Carousel Hunter Derby! Chancellor also brought home ribbons in a tough 3’ Green division with Jennifer up. This young horse is starting to figure it out!

Golden Opportunity rocked the USHJA National Hunter Derby with scores of 87 and 86 to bring home the 4th place ribbon out of 40 horses! He also had solid trips in the 3’6” greens this week for ribbons among good company.

🥇Hippocampe Batilly and Jennifer won a class in the 3’ Green and had top ribbons throughout the division. Hippo also had some solid trips in the Low Adult Hunters with as she learns her young horse in the ring.

🏆 Deveena and had beautiful trips in the combined 3’6” JR/AO hunters for reserve champion! They also had an 90 in the handy portion of the hunt and go USHJA National Derby!

Chacorie M and had beautiful trips with some baby moments mixed in for a solid second horse show for this youngster! Including a 🥇 in the Low Adult Hunter U/S!

Buck A Roo and knocked the dust off for their first show this year with a 🥇 and 🥈 in the USHJA 2’9” Hunters and solid trips for good ribbons on large Pre Adult Equitation and Hunter Divisions. They also finished 9th in the 2’6” Carousel Hunter Derby!

Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko continued to display consistency in a massive opportunity walk trot hunter division bringing home ribbons in every class! QT also was 🥇 and 🥈 in the USHJA 2’ Hunters with Jennifer with beautiful, consistent trips throughout the division.

Colorado Spring Final is a wrap!!! A great week with some new partnerships and awesome results! Highlights include

🏆 Golden Opportunity stepped up to the 3’6” greens with solid rounds and a reserve championship!

🏆 Rachel Brody got to step into the show ring for the first time with her young hunter Chancellor and they brought home a reserve championship in the Rusty Stirrup hunters and were 4th in the 2’ Carousel Hunter Derby! This talented young horse also started to put the pieces together with Jennifer to earn ribbons in a tough 3’ green division!

🏆 Madeline Stacy stepped into the ring with her new partner To The Point and were Reserve Champion Low Children’s Hunter and reserve champion Low Children’s Equitation! This pair was also 6th in the 2’6” Carousel Hunter Derby and 9th in the Low Child/Adult Hunter Classic! To The Point also earned top ribbons in a large and competitive USHJA 2’6” division with Jennifer!

🏆 Jacqui Lorenzen and Imna Mosa continued their winning ways with a championship in the 1.10m Amateur Jumpers and a win in the 1.15m Amateur Jumper Classic!

🏆 Skylar Hulkko and Woodland’s QT Pie showed great consistency in the walk trot poles division earning reserve champion! QT was also reserve champion USHJA 2’ hunter with Jennifer!

🏆 Danielle McCann and Sky’s The Limit came to their first show with us and brought home the reserve championship in the Rusty Stirrup Equitation! Sky also had great ribbons in a competitive USHJA 2’3” division with Jennifer!

🏆 Autumn Akley and Saldo continued to show great progress with ribbons in competitive Pre Children’s Hunter and Equitation divisions. We’re so excited to see the learning and growth in this pair! .akley

Congratulations to all our horses and riders on a successful Colorado Spring Classic!

Imna Mosa and Jacqui Lorenzen nailed it in their first show together at 1.10m! Champion, winning 2 classes in the division, and taking the win in the 1.15m Amateur Jumper Classic!!! 🏆

Hippocampe Batilly and Zhelia Holloway earned top ribbons in a massive Low Adult Hunter division! Hippo also made his 3’ debut with Jennifer and won a USHJA 3’ class and earned top ribbons in the 3’ greens!

Saldo and Autumn Akley also moved up a division to the Pre Children’s Hunters and earned great ribbons among good company! Saldo also earned top ribbons in the USHJA 2’9” with Jennifer!

Golden Opportunity put in consistent rounds to earn ribbons in a huge 3’3” performance division with Jennifer!

Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko had lovely trips in the pile of poles division for good ribbons! QT also had consistent trips in the USHJA 2’ hunters for top ribbons with Jennifer!

Chancellor marched around the 3’ greens at his 4th horse show with some green moments, but we’re very excited for this young horse’s future!

We kicked off our show season last week with a fantastic show at CSC March at the Ranch!!!

Hippocampe Batilly made his US debut with a 🏆championship in the 2’9” hunters with Jennifer Hulkko and top ribbons on the low adult hunters with owner Zhelia Holloway!

RF Meisterfreiheit and Melissa Rosen made their debut as a team bringing home the 🏆 championship in the crossrails division and he was 🏆 in the USHJA 2’3” hunters with Jennifer Hulkko!

Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko were 🏆 champions in the walk trot pile of poles division and she was champion 🏆 USHJA 2’ hunters with Jennifer Hulkko!

Figure of Speech and Mia Blakesley were outstanding in Mia’s first horse show bringing home 2 wins in the short/long stirrup division!

Figure of Speech and Hannah Joiner earned ribbons in a tough 2’ USHJA division and the 0.70m jumpers with excellent riding.

Chancellor made his 3’ green debut and won a class with Jennifer Hulkko!

Golden Opportunity made his 3’6” green debut and got better and better over the bigger jumps, with good ribbons as a result!

A devastating tragedy this morning. 💔 Our thoughts are with our friends at Watson Equestrian LLC and Hidden Pines Farm. Please donate if you can.

The CHJA community is heartbroken to confirm the tragic barn fire at Hidden Pines in Franktown owned by CHJA lifetime member, Dana Vollbracht, and was the home base to CHJA Board Member, Sarah Watson, Suzy Balensiefen and Elizabeth Joseph along with their incredible staff, clients and barn family.

The Halloween party was postponed to next weekend because of the big winter storm we had this weekend (and who doesn’t want to make Halloween last a little bit longer?), but QT took the opportunity to give her costume a test run today… still a few logistics to work out. We wrapped up our Colorado show season with another fantastic week at Autumn in the Rockies!

Golden Opportunity displayed consistency across a tough young hunter division for good ribbons in the 7 year olds and stepped up into his first derby with a solid trip!

Booyah tested the waters in a different ring and brought home the championship in the 0.75m jumpers with Jennifer! She also earned ribbons in the USHJA 2’3” hunters. And with aboard, pinned in every class in both the Rusty Stirrup flat classes and the cross rail division. This mare is proudly offered for sale.

Imna Mosa and brought home the reserve championship in the 1.00m low adult jumpers. This pair has been champion or reserve at every show! 🔥🔥🔥

Buck A Roo and were champions of the pre adult equitation division with a clean sweep of the division! 🔥🧹 They also had lovely trips with good ribbons in a tough pre adult hunter division and were 3rd in the Columbine Adult Medal!

Pardon My French and continued knocking the dust off and getting back into the show ring groove with consistent trips for ribbons in the 1.00m low adult jumpers. Fun to see this pair find their form together!

Jameson and .dow02 showed great improvement in this young horse’s development and earned ribbons in both the low adult eq and the low adult hunters! Jameson also earned ribbons in the USHJA 2’3” hunters with Jennifer up. This youngster is starting to figure horse show life out!

Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko earned good ribbons in every class in a tough walk trot division with some of their best rounds to date! QT also earned top ribbons throughout the USHJA 2’ hunters with Jennifer!

Ashkelon and had solid trips in the competitive Low Adult Hunters division. We love to see the consistency this pair is developing in the show ring.

Well that was fun! 🤩 We had a great week at Autumn In The Rockies 1!

Buck-A-Roo and had their most consistent week yet and were reserve champions in both the low children’s hunters and the low children’s equitation! They were also 5th in the low child adult hunter classic and 6th in the Carousel hunter derby! Way to go Maddie! Roo was also reserve champion in the USHJA 2’6” hunters with Jennifer.

Imna Mosa and were on fire again this week! They were campion in the low child adult jumper division and won the classic!

Booyah and continued to show that hard work pays off, displaying consistency in the cross rail division with lots of ribbons and a second in the flat eq!

Ashkelon and had great, consistent trips in the low adult hunters and low adult equitation, with top ribbons!

Pardon My French and had a successful return to the show ring with confidence building rounds in the low adult jumpers, setting themselves up for future success in the big ring!

Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko had their best rounds to date in the pile of poles division for good ribbons and successfully completed their first cross rail courses! QT also had top ribbons in the USHJA 2’ with Jennifer.

Golden Opportunity continues to improve for ribbons in a tough 3’3” green division with Jennifer also!

We finished up our final week of with lots of great riding during week 5! Highlights include

Buck A Roo and were champions in the pre adult equitation! They also laid down beautiful, consistent trips for ribbons across the division in the pre adult hunters and finished their week with an 85 in the second round of the classic to finish up with a top 5 finish!

Imna Mosa and won a class in the 1.00m low child adult jumpers in a MASSIVE division (40+ horses!) and won a 1.00m open class. They had solid double clear rounds all week and finished second in the classic by fractions of a second. Imna Mosa was also 2nd in a 1.00m class to start the week with Jennifer up.

Booyah and continue to improve with consistent rounds in the cross rail division with ribbons in every class. Booyah also won a class of 2’3” USHJA hunters along with other ribbons on the division with Jennifer up as she settles into her job as a show hunter.

Ashkelon and had their most consistent week of the summer with ribbons across both the pre adult equitation and pre adult hunter divisions.

Pikaat and had some lovely trips and were 4th in the USHJA 2’3” hunters against all the pros!

Golden Opportunity continued to grow up and put the pieces together in the 7 & under young hunters with Jennifer. This young horse has so much potential and is going to be a star.

Woodlands QT Pie and Skylar Hulkko brought home ribbons in a giant walk trot division and we’re excited for this pair’s progress! QT also had lovely trips for top ribbons in the USHJA 2’ hunters with Jennifer.
