This day marks the anniversary of the first Rabies vaccine-developed by Louis Pasteur in 1885-and reminds us how important disease prevention is for both pets and people.
Zoonotic diseases, like rabies, ringworm and leptospirosis can spread from pets to people. The good news? It’s preventable! By keeping vaccines up to date and administering preventatives (like heartworm, flea and tick) you can have peace of mind that your family is protected!

July 1st is National ID Your Pet Day! Also the perfect day to announce that July is National Lost Pet Prevention Month! Did you know that 1 in 3 pets will go missing at some point in their life? And one of the most common days is the 4th of July. ID tags and microchips are simple tools that make a huge difference bringing lost pets home.
