Fine Needle Aspirate

Does your pet have a new growth? A fine needle aspirate, or FNA, is a test used to help identify the cells inside of the new growth. After we aspirate the material into a syringe, we then expel it onto a slide that we use to evaluate cells under the microscope. As a part of Pet Cancer Awareness month, we encourage you to give your pet a good massage and feel around for anything different!
