☀️🐶 Keep Your Pup Safe This Summer! 🐶☀️
Warm weather means more adventures — but it also comes with risks for our furry friends. Follow these smart summer safety tips to help your dog stay cool, comfortable, and healthy:
💧 Hydration is Key – Always make sure your dog has access to plenty of fresh, cool water, especially on hot days.

🌅 Walk During Cooler Hours – Head out early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are lower and pavement is cooler.

🔥 Protect Their Paws – Pavement and asphalt can burn your dog’s feet. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!

🚗 No Pets Left in Cars – Temperatures can skyrocket in just minutes inside a parked car, even with the windows cracked. Never leave your pet inside!

🥵 Know the Signs of Heatstroke – Look for heavy panting, drooling, or fatigue. Act quickly and call your vet if you notice these symptoms.

🦟 Stay Ahead of Parasites – Warmer months bring out ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes. Keep your dog on a vet-approved parasite prevention plan.

While training dogs at our facility, we saw smoke nearby and feared the worst. Tragically, it was a house fire—and our hearts sank when we learned that a local family lost nearly everything, including their beloved dog, Violet. 💔

We just wrapped up an incredible few days in Tampa for our annual owner's conference, and we’re still feeling the energy! From powerful keynotes to hands-on workshops, this year’s conference was all about growth, connection, and leveling up as business owners.

🎭 We celebrated at our Masquerade Gala & Annual Awards.
🐾 And most importantly, we gave back.

The biggest highlight? Together, we raised over $2,500 for Suncoast Animal League—a no-kill rescue that’s changing lives through adoption, therapy dog programs, and critical medical care. ❤️

This event reminded us why we do what we do. The Dog Wizard is more than just a brand—it’s a family dedicated to making a difference. 🚀

Congratulations LaLa on completing our Day School 6 Puppy Program! 👏

LaLa came to us as a puppy in need of basic obedience. Throughout our program LaLa shined! We worked on being comfortable in a kennel, holding place and leash walking to name a few. After the 6 days, LaLa has a good foundation and through work with her family, LaLa will only continue to succeed. We can’t wait to see Lala and her family at our Lifetime Support Classes and watch her continued development.
