Family Petsitting lost another sweet & beloved friend this week. This is Walter, the most goodest, sweetest boy we've had the pleasure of taking care of. 💙 These losses have really hit Maria & I hard. I love my business so much, but hate this part, especially when they happen so close together. We love your pets like they are our own & miss them when they're gone. 💔 Rest easy Walter, we love you & miss you.

Today is World Turtle Day. 🐢 We take care of several turtles & tortoises here at Family Petsitting. Today I thought I'd share a picture of our family's tortoise, Teddy. She lives in the bottom part of my veggie garden when it's warm & we bring her inside to her enclosure in the Fall & Winter months. She loves feasting on the lettuces & herbs that I plant in her part of the garden. She gets lots of important ☀️ & digging time which are both very important to her. She's also an excellent climber. We've had to make a few adjustments to her fencing over the years 😆

Today is National Rescue Dog Day! Here are my current rescues & the ones we have lost along the way. We've been rescuing & fostering with Colorado Saint Bernard Rescue for 20 years! 🤎🤍🖤 Not pictured are Tank who was our 1st adoption, his pictures are in my laptop & Lilly who passed of bone cancer too soon after we adopted her, I also only have pictures of her in my laptop.
