Just look at them!

We're overjoyed to welcome our "Lonesome Dove" litter! We themed this litter after a remarkable Western film as this litter came about in similar ways as to some of the story lines within the film. This is our first dual sired litter here at NorthWood's and we'll learn at a later time who our "Newts" father really is!

This litter has been anticipated for quite some time and we couldn't be more thrilled about them.

“Orange” you glad we’re going to be sharing all that we do here? Hah!

It’s no surprise to folks that we raise our puppies on “Puppy Culture.” Which in short is exposing them to age appropriate stimuli.

Puppies are born blind & deaf. Their senses that they have at this time is touch but most importantly, smell! A dog’s nose is something remarkable! There isn’t a single piece of technology or machine that can do what a dog’s nose does.

Up until the day that the puppies eyes open, we enrich them with different smells and sensory stimulation. So that’s where the oranges and limes come in. Tomorrow, it’ll be an entirely “new” smell to them. Call us bananas tomorrow! Hah!

We’re excited to continue to share all that we do here.

We’re overjoyed to share that Ray is confirmed pregnant!

To whom you may ask? We have completed a dual sired breeding with her, so in layman’s terms, she has two “baby Daddies.”

DNA samples will be submitted to determine who the “Daddy” is of each puppy.
