Meet Thomie Horns! This handsome boy is a 15 week old beagle/English bulldog mix. The horns part comes from his fur color on the back of his head that look like horns! We are currently accepting applications and he will be ready to go to his forever home in a few weeks, after he has been neutered and received his vaccine boosters.
This playful little guy really is the total package! From his sweet, soulful eyes to his ridiculously floppy ears, he will quickly warm his way into your heart. He has already mastered the head tilt!
Overall, he is a pretty chill guy. He loves to snuggle on your lap or just sit right next to you. He doesn’t mind his crate (as long as his favorite octopus toy is in there, waiting) and sleeps quietly through the night.
He seems to already be potty trained as he has not had any accidents. He is learning to walk on a leash and loves hanging out with the “big boys” (aka the resident dogs).

Two weeks ago, Matt Mathews performed at Wind Creek Bethlehem, and we were lucky enough to spend an incredible evening with him.

MJ is a 1-year-old shepherd mix with a heart full of grit and determination. This incredible girl came to us after surviving horrific abuse — with all four legs and some ribs broken. Our sweet girl on the left, Corsac, suffered a prolapse yesterday — making it 3 out of 4 in this litter who have now gone through the same thing 💔
They're all fighting hard, and we're doing everything we can to keep them clean, comfortable, and safe while they recover. But we could really use some help with supplies!

🌟 Update on adoptable Sky🌟
📍 Currently with Above the Standard Dog Training
in Florida 🐾

Sometimes, there are dogs we adore but just can't quite figure out — and that's when it's time to turn to the pros. Sky is one of those pups. A few weeks ago, we sent this beautiful 2-year-old girl to training to get a professional evaluation and a deeper understanding of what she needs to thrive. And it’s paying off in a big way! 🙌
Not only is Sky having an absolute blast in training, but she’s also gaining some much-needed weight and starting to really come into her own. With her sleek black coat, curious spirit, and growing confidence, she’s blossoming into the dog we always knew she could be. 🖤

✅ Dog Friendly? Absolutely! Sky loves other dogs. She’s been great with males, females, older and younger pups alike. She enjoys playing and exploring with her doggy friends, and we think she’d really benefit from a confident canine companion in her future home.

👶 Kids? We’re updating her bio here — we now think older, calmer kids would be a better match. Sky can be a little nervous meeting new people, and a quiet home without too much hustle and bustle will help her continue to grow.

🚗 Public outings & the car? She’s calm, well-behaved, and fairly neutral. Her obedience training is coming along beautifully — she’s food-motivated and loves to learn.

🏡 Energy Level: Medium. She enjoys the outdoors, loves to run and explore, and we think she’ll be a lake-loving girl once she gets the chance!

🧺 Crate Training & Potty Habits: Sky has had a few crate accidents, but nothing consistent. She sometimes holds her potty for long stretches (even after a good walk), so she's a bit quirky there, but she’s capable of holding it just fine.

💔 Separation Anxiety: Sky would do best in a home where someone isn’t gone for long stretches (8–10 hours a day). She’s attached to her people and finds comfort in being near them.

💫 What’s Next?
Sky will be back in just a couple of weeks — and we’d love for her to go straight into a foster-to-adopt home. She’s made so much progress in a structured setting, and keeping that momentum going in a stable home environment will make all the difference.
She’s sweet, sensitive, goofy, and full of potential — and she’s ready to find her person. Could that be you?

🆘 PAMPAS NEEDS YOUR HELP 🆘

Only 9 weeks old — and already proving she is a fighter.

Yesterday, we received an urgent call from ACCT Philly about three tiny puppies who had just been surrendered. One was in distress, suffering from a re**al prolapse. As soon as we saw the photos, we recognized them — the ears gave it away.

They’re siblings to Fennec, a stray we rescued just days ago — also suffering from a re**al prolapse.

This is Pampas 🦊.
And she’s in pretty bad shape.
She arrived with a severe roundworm overload, dangerously anemic, and had to receive an emergency blood transfusion last night. She’s now hospitalized, receiving amazing care at Crown Veterinary Specialist, and fighting with every ounce of strength in her tiny body.

Her sisters, Kit and Corsac (yes, like the foxes too 🦊), are thankfully more stable — but both are being treated as outpatients for the same roundworm infestation that’s plagued this whole litter.

💔 This didn’t happen by accident. These pups are the victims of backyard breeding — where there is no vet care, no deworming, no compassion. Just profit over life. And when things go wrong, the sick and broken are tossed away like trash.
Backyard breeders don’t see lives — they see litters and they see $$$$$$$$.And it’s the puppies like Pampas, Kit, Corsac, and Fennec who pay the price.

🐾 But we see them. And we’re fighting for them. Pampas is holding on — and now we need you to hold on for her, too.

🐾 Meet Stella! 🐾
A few weeks ago, we welcomed this adorable little meatball into the rescue — and she’s already stealing hearts (and maybe a few snacks 😅).
Some of you might remember her mom Tinsel, who came to us last year after a breeder gave up on treating her skin condition. Now it's Stella's turn to find her happily-ever-after! 💕
At just 1 year old, Stella is full of sass, s***k, and typical Frenchie flair. She’s a total goofball and so much fun to be around. Stella is currently on a weight loss program as she arrived morbidly obese and is doing great — she's already shed about 3 pounds! 💪
That said, our girl has opinions. Stella takes her kennel-guarding duties seriously and can be a bit of a jerk on leash when other animals are around. But don't worry — karma already caught up with her... she got her butt handed to her by a Yorkie. So, she’s learning humility. 😂
🏡 Ideal Home:
Stella could thrive as your one-and-only, or with another tolerant dog who won’t mind her diva moments. She just needs a home that understands Frenchie quirks and loves her for the confident little character she is.

🚨 GRAPHIC CONTENT WARNING

Meet Zennec — With her massive ears and curious eyes, she looks like a little fennec fox — but behind that sweet face is the heartbreaking emergency she suffered yesterday. She is only about 8 weeks old and is all heart and EARS. 💔🐾

She was found alone as a stray in Philadelphia, suffering from a severe re**al prolapse. This tiny baby was brought to the emergency vet where she underwent a procedure to place her re**um back in place.

💊 Yes, a simple, $15 deworming treatment could have saved her from this unnecessary suffering. She has been 💩💩 roundworms and lots of them.

We could use some help to cover the expenses from last night as it has been a major medical week between Beegie's MRI, Toads 3rd and successful heart surgery and Momma Jane having her puppies last night. Please consider a donation to help the dogs in need.
