UPDATE: Ava has found her furever home! I am so excited for her. She will be the only pet in the household and as such will receive total unconditional love!!

It is time to rehome our beautiful queen, Ava. She is such a sweet loving girl and needs to be in a home where she will be the reigning queen. She suffered closed pyometra, a uterine infection and had to be spayed. She has been completely vetted for heart, hips and genetics. Beautiful blue eyes!! Whiskey is deaf, but it sure doesn't stop him! He is fearless! Whiskey is 12 weeks, had 3 boosters for distemper and his rabies shot. The Story of Cinnamon

As breeders, we all know major heartache. We lose kittens, we have breakdowns, we decide to quit. Then we get a miracle that keeps us going. That miracle is Cinnamon. She was born a healthy, beautiful red female. She and her siblings did so well until she was 3 weeks old. They said it was panleukopenia (distemper). It caused a blood infection that settled into her poor, tiny joints, septic arthritis. They swelled up like balloons. She was non-ambulatory, she couldn’t walk at all. They wanted a decision from us as to whether she should live or not. We knew she was a champion, we kept going. They kept her for 5 days, did a procedure to flush her little joints. Sent her home for us to care for.

My husband, Ed, bless his heart, took this little girl under his wing. She became his miracle. He fed her every 2 hours round the clock, stimulated her to go potty, cleaned up her messes. Each day she became more alert. Each day she ate more on her own. We celebrated when she went potty on her own. At 5 weeks he had her going potty in the litterbox after he placed her in it. At 6 weeks, she started moving around the room, scaring us half to death when we couldn’t find her because she crawled under the nightstand. And boy, does she have an attitude. Her determination is what kept her alive and kept us going.

Today, she is a happy little 12-week-old kitten that is staying with us. She runs and plays with her siblings, eats completely on her own and is such a joy to watch bounding up and down the stairs. She is no longer on antibiotics. We have pain medicine for her when she over does it.

This is why we breed. This is why we suffer the heartache. This is why we keep going.

This is one of the hard parts of breeding, you can't keep them all. I had a vet say to me, "You can be a pet owner or you can be a breeder" it was a hard lesson. It is time for Hermoine to live her best life away from the stress of the cattery. She has that mean European look! But she is the sweetest girl. She is 4 years old and has been spayed.

Here is a very early sneak peek at Jadis's and Reishi's litter. Sadly only 2 survived out of 5, but these 2 are growing like weeds and the size of puppies!! Asher and Amari will be a bonded pair as I will have no other kittens as they grow, this means they will go to their new home together. We received some heartbreaking news regarding the possible babies Reishi could produce. Instead of taking any chances with the babies, it is in our best interest to neuter and rehome him. He is completely clear on hips, heart and DNA, there could be a genetic throw back with his babies. Please message me if you are interested. He is an amazingly affectionate boy, currently weighing in at 15 pounds at a 18 months.

Mable is a red silver and white bicolor and she was born on August 22nd. She is a bit fiesty if you try to make her do something she does not want to, but she will follow you everywhere and then cuddle up on your lap for a snooze! Her parents have been cleared of genetic diseases to include HCM and hip dysplasia.
